    TX SPORTS TRAINING

Meet The Staff Guestbook | Coupons | Weather | Fun & Games

Tom Mullins - Owner / Operator

Tom started out training under the previous owner, Brad Haubrich.

He was about 1/2 way through his training when Brad was offered a flight position in Fort Worth and put the business up for sale. Tom bought the flight school and took over as owner in October of 2002.

Tom finished his traing with Ron and has Wings Over Texas going strong.

Tom is not only the owner, but also a client and is dedicated to the pilots of Wings Over Texas and the promotion of aviation by providing a quality aircraft to train the pilots of tomorrow.

    Mark Trejo - Pilot / A&P, IA

Mark is a long time friend of Wings Over Texas dating back to the Go Air days.

Mark is a licensed A&P / IA and worked as a mechanic for Wilson Art ensuring the Lear is in top condition... until lately. He is now working for WilsonArt as a first officer! Look for Mark in the skies, but don't blink, he will be rocketing by in his new ride, the WilsonArt Lear 65!

Mark has been nice enough to show Tom and I how to perform simple maintenence on 65E such as tire changes, brake pads and oil changes.

    Mark has a son, J.E.T.

Mark has been a pilot for over 18 years with rotorwing fixed wing, commercial, instrument and multi-engine all adding up to over 3000 hours of fight time. Add to that his ATP with his new job. If you can attain it in the world of aviation, Mark has pretty much done it.

    Ron Stewart - CFII

Ron has been with Wings Over Texas since the Go Air days and has been a pilot for 18 years earning his Bachelor's Degree in Aviation in 1995 and a CFI/CFII for over 9 years.

Ron met the former owner in 1999, Brad, who asked Ron to refresh his CFI and start insructing again. The rest is history and Ron has since gone on to train over 20 pilots 1100 hours in instruction and logged over 2200 hours of flight time.

Ron is a Driver/Paramedic with Temple Fire & Rescue and manages Wings Over Texas on his 2 days off. The loves of his life are his wife Kristen and his daughters Skylar and Summer in addition to flying.

    Bob Didio - CFII

Bob is a transplanted Texan having moved here in 2004 from Iowa.

In addition to being a flight instructor with over 2500 hours of flight time, Bob is also a fitness instructor @ Gym X in Temple.

We are very fortunate to have met Bob through the sell of his airplane to one of our pilots.

    Rayford Brown - CFII
Rayford is a former F-4 Phantom pilot flying the skies of Vietnam and has landed here with Wings Over Texas. He is an experienced and knowledgable pilot who loves aviation and teaching, a perfect mix for the benefit of our student pilot. Rayford is a Lt. Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol and has been with Wings Over Texas as a renter since it's inception and as an instructor with us since early 2006.

    Tracey Panzieri - CFI
Tracey came to Wings Over Texas Aviation in 2002 with a dream to attain his private pilot license. Tracey showed promise, dedication and desire. He bundled all that up to not only get his private license,(he is the second pilot to be certified at WOT), but also his instrument, commercial, multi-engine rating and CFI. He has gone on to fly a Cessna Grand Caravan for UPS for a year, and is now flying a Caravan for the government. He continues here at WOT because he loves to fly and pass on his extensive knowledge to others with the same passion.

    Craig Caddell - CFII
Craig Caddell came to Wings Over Texas in 2003 with the hopes and dreams of flying for a career. He completed his private with Ron, Instrument with Joey and then Commercial and CFI with Ron. He went to Arlington and tagged on his multi-engine.

Craig bought his own plane with Mark and loaded up the hours in the next couple of years flying frequently including numerous missions to New Orleans when Katrina hit their coast.

Craig applied and was accepted for a position in a Piper Cheynne in New Braunfels but retuened to Temple after just 4 months to accept a flight position as Chief Pilot in JF Air Traffic's Premier Jet. We are happy to have him back and flying with Wings Over Texas on his off days. Craig is another WOT success story.

    Stan Gunn - CFII
Stan Gunn has been instructing longer than most of the rest of us have been alive.

He has over 7000 hours of flight time and is an excellent resource and instructor.

Stan is married to Ruby and is retired making his avability very flexable and convenient for students on a tight schedule.

We am very happy to have Stan and everything he brings to our flight school on board.
