Our league is instructional for kids pre-k through 8th grade.
We make up the teams so they are as even as possible.
Practices are usually on Tuesdays and Thursday's with games on Saturday mornings.
Girls are required to have their own stick, shin guards, mouth guard and goggles.

Fruitland Falcon Field Hockey Updates:
The 2017 field hockey season is just around the corner. There are many things that still need to be done before we can kick this season off. Please read the entire email in order to put the dates that pertain to you in your calendar:
Equipment Pick Up- July 26th, July 27th and July 30th from 6:00-7:00 pm, Bring your daughter so she can try on and take her reversible, skorts and uniform.
(Registration fee is due at time of equipment pick up.)
Dick’s 20% Savings Day: July 22nd
Assessment Day: Saturday, August 12th . Please make every effort to attend this day. If you are unable to attend please let us know. If you have not completed registration before the 12th, and do not attend assessments you will be taken off the list and not be assigned a team. It is very import in order for us to divide teams as balanced as possible. Each player must wear their reversible, goggles, shin guards, mouth guard and bring their stick.
Times: 6th-8th graders: 8:00am- 9:00 am
4th-5th graders: 9:15-10:15 am
2nd-3rd Graders: 10:30-11:30 am
Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign.
1st graders: This year we have decided to do a clinic for Pre-k- 1st grade. I know that we have many 1st graders that have been playing for a couple of year, therefore if your child is a 1st grader and you would like her to play on a “team” please bring her to the 2nd & 3rd grade assessments. This will give a chance to see the girls your child would be playing with and can make a choice whether to participate in the clinic or be placed on a team.
PreK-1st Grade Clinic: Clinic will not start until September 12th. The cost of this will be $50 per participant. Girls will receive a T-shirt and pin for participating in the season. The clinic will be held on Tuesday’s & Thursdays from 5:45-6:45 September 12th- October 12th. (10 days)
COACHES MEETING: We will be having a coaches meeting August 15th at 6:00pm at the field. ANYONE that is interested please come out to the meeting. If you are interested and cannot make the meeting, please let me know. Coaching is such a rewarding volunteer position that we are always in need of. We will be meeting in the classroom (building closest to the baseball field). We will discuss teams, expectations, responsibilities and other Falcon related issues.
First Practice: Teams will be created the week of August 13th and you should hear from your coach by Friday August 18th. FIRST PRACTICE will be August 22nd!!! Practices will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays anytime between 5:30-7:30 depending on your coach. Most practices are about an hour in length. Starting in October we will go to one practice a week.
Jamboree: This is our OPENING CEREMONY! This will be Friday, August 25th starting at 6pm. During Opening Ceremony, all field hockey and football teams are paraded onto the stadium field and all players are announced. This is our way to kick off the season.
First Games and Pictures: Saturday, September 9th (all games on Saturdays unless they are make-up games)
Trick or Treat Night: October 28th - This is a very fun activity for the kids (much like a "Trunk or Treat"). We ask parents to donate a bag of candy for their team table. Kids wear Halloween costumes and parade through the team tables. All are welcome to attend
Last Game and Uniform Turn In: October 28th
