Find A Team Through "Free Agency"

Looking to join an ACS league? Don't have a team or want to find a new one in a different division? Are you new to Atlanta and want to meet fellow Catholics? Here's your chance. Join ACS and declare yourself a "free agent!
Captains and other players come here to find new players for their existing or newly-forming teams. You can declare which division (competitive, intermediate, recreation) you prefer and provide your contact information. Numerous Catholic young adults find free agency a great way to meet new people and get further involved in our ministry. Click here for Free Agent Registration.
* First, check your parish - specifically its Athletic and/or Social ministry for open roster spots on an existing team. If no team at your parish, or no roster openings, or just interested in meeting new people ...

Membership/Roster Rules Update

These are the revised new membership and roster submission guidelines for all Atlanta Catholic Sports leagues. Your strict adherence to these rules is appreciated as all people involved are volunteers.
STATEMENT
All teams playing in ACS leagues must adhere to a strict 70% "confirmed" Catholic participation rule. We foster a Christian atmosphere and since we are a Catholic organization, teams must also have substantial Catholic composition. Each and every team roster submitted to a league commissioner MUST comply with our requirements by having at least 70% of their roster made up of "confirmed" Catholics, no exceptions. Team captains are responsible for reporting this information, as indicated on the roster forms they submit. Each roster form has a column for supplying the parish, city and state of the member's confirmation. Assuming you have filled out that column completely, you may check off "Yes" under the "Catholic - Yes or No?" column. We rely on and appreciate your honesty - but REQUIRE the confirmation info to be supplied or your roster will be invalid and the player will NOT count toward your 70%.
NEW MEMBERSHIP FORMS PROCESS
As a volunteer organization accountable to the Archdiocese and our insurance policy, we are afforded little flexibility in our guidelines. To play in our leagues, you absolutely must have an ACS ID number assigned prior to the weekend or following week's (for weeknight leagues) games. All our volunteer leaders play in the leagues too and should not be approached for "exceptions" - it is unfair to those individuals and they are unable to stray from the guidelines. Thank you for your understanding and compliance. Please read our process below very carefully:
* Now that we have incorporate Online Membership, we are phasing out the use of printed forms. Please use the online process for speedier turnaround on ID numbers (and limit headaches for all).
* For a new member to be eligible for play, he/she must have received their ID number by 3:00 PM on Thursday for that weekend's matches.
* League Commissioners, in turn, will email the updated membership spreadsheet to captains for cross reference on their players.
* Captains have until 8:00 p.m. Friday to email their team's updated roster, complete with ALL ACS ID numbers, to their league commissioners (eg, basketball@atlantacatholicsports.org, soccer@atlantacatholicsports.org, etc).
