What is the Baseball U Prospect Team?
The Baseball U Prospect Team is a team composed of top players from various states. These players selected will participate in three and possibly four select events as well as college invitation tournaments. These events include the Perfect Game WWBA National Championships in Marietta, Georgia as well as the Perfect Game WWBA NE Qualifier #1 and #2 at Baseball Heaven in Long Island, NY. If the team was to win one of those events they would then play for free in Jupiter, Florida for the WWBA World Championships in October. The team will also compete in the USA Labor Day Cup in Cary, North Carolina once again.
The players for this team are hand selected by members of the coaching staff of Baseball U as well as other MLB scouts including the Houston Astros area scouts.
