2007 CCWA Player of the Year
September 3, 2007 --
Josh "Burck" Burckhardt was voted Cowlitz County Wiffleball Association's Player of the Year for the 2007 season.
Josh led the Vancouver Penguins to their first CCWA Championship.
He won the triple crown for batting, averaging .434 with seventeen homeruns and 76 RBIs, all league records.
On the mound he led his team with seven wins, while posting a 2.20 ERA and striking out a Southern Division best 114.
During the CCWA Championships he hit seven homeruns in five games. He was also the first player in league history to hit four homeruns in one game.
He also won the following awards:
*2007 Southern Division Rookie of the Year
*2007 ALL-CCWA FIRST TEAM
*2007 SILVER SLUGGER
