B. Determination of Zone Champions
Zone champions shall be determined according to the following procedure :
1. Won/loss percentage in Zone games ;
2. (a) If two (2) teams have identical won/loss percentages within Zone
games, the team that won the Zone game between the two shall be the Zone champion;
(b) If the Zone game ended in a tie, then the team with the highest won/loss percentage in League games shall be the Zone champion;
(c) If the teams have identical won/loss percentages in League games then the team with highest won/loss percentage in games involving opponents common to each team shall be the Zone champion;
(d) If the teams have identical won/loss percentages in League games and games involving common opponents then the Zone champion shall be determined by a coin flip.
3. (a) If more than two (2) teams have identical won/loss percentages within
Zone games then the won/loss percentages with respect to games between the teams with identical Zone won/loss percentages shall be applied to determine the Zone champion;
(b) If all teams are still tied then the team with the highest won/loss percentage in League games shall be the Zone champion;
(c) If all teams are still tied then the team with the highest won/loss percentage in games involving opponents common to all the tied teams shall be the Zone champion;
(d) If all teams are still tied then the Zone champion shall be determined by a coin flip.
4. If during the application of the tie breakers set forth in paragraph number 3, one or more teams are eliminated yet two or more teams remain tied, then the remaining tied teams shall have the applicable tie breaker procedures in paragraph 2 or 3 applied to them as if such teams had originally been the only teams tied for the Zone championship.
