Warriors Crown 1 Champion at Sequoyah Invitational
Congratulations to Geoff Rapp who won the 189lb championship at the Sequoyah Invitational this weekend. Geoff was joined by Josh Hay (119) on the medal stand at one of the toughest tournaments in the state. North Cobb's Warriors are making improvement and showing growth.
Our next tournament will be a dual format this weekend at the Tomahawk Duals hosted by North Cobb High School.

Warriors Take 2nd at the Tomahawk Duals!
Our Warriors placed 2nd at the Tomahawk Duals hosted by North Cobb HS. Our Warriors had several great matches and finished the tournament 4-1, losing to Wesleyan in the tournament finals.
We won duals against:
South Paulding
North Forsyth
Pope
Chapel Hill
There were several very close matches and our young Warriors really stepped up when needed.
Our current dual record for the year is 12-8.

War Eagle Classic Results
December 31, 2006 --
Congratulations to Geoff Rapp for winning his 3rd straight individual championship this season. Geoff won the individual title for the 189 lb weight class while Brendon Conti took 2nd in the 103 lb weight class.

We only entered 8 wrestlers in the Saturday individual tournament and placed 5. Our young Warriors are showing improvement and growth.

Cobb County Championships
January 7, 2007 --
Congratulations to Geoff Rapp for taking 2nd place at the Cobb County Championships held January 5th and 6th at Sprayberry High School. Geoff wrestled a tough match against 2 time State Champion Andy Olsen from Walton for the 189lb crown.
Also placing for our Warriors at the tournament were Darron Jackson, 5th at 135lbs and Brendon Conti, 6th at 103lbs.

Our Warriors competed in the Coal Mountain Classic at North Forsyth High School. The tournament was a great experience for our young wrestlers and gave us a great look at things to come over the next few years.
