A & C TEAM PLAYOFF GAME
Attention players, coaches and parents.
I am pleased to announce that the Revere Junior Patriots C and A team’s finished in second place in the division 1 PeeWee and Midget divisions.
This is a great accomplishment for both teams and the entire program.
Both games will be played on Wednesday evening November 4th @ Waltham High School.
C team starts at 6:00 but the players should arrive at the field by 4:30.
A Team starts at 7:45 but the players should arrive at the field by 6:15.
There will be a cost to attend these games so please be prepared to pay at the gate. I am not sure of the exact cost but it will be somewhere in the area of $5 adults and $3 kids.
Only football coaches, cheering coaches, football players and cheerleaders will not have to pay.
Lists of coaches names will be at the front gate so please do not try and tell them you are a coach when you are not.
Kids should wear their away white jerseys and should dress appropriately for the cold night weather.
Each kid must have a POP WARNER patch on their game pants on their left thigh area. If they do not, please tell your coach and we will issue them one. You will need to sew it on so that it does not come off during game play. If they do not have this patch, they will be ineligible to play.
Shields on player’s facemasks are NOT ALLOWED. If your child has one, please remove it prior to the game.
Cleats must be no more than quarter inch and cannot be steel/metal. Please make sure your child cleats meet these requirements and if not please purchase new cleats for your child that do meet the requirements.
If your child fails to make the minimum/maximum weight requirement they will not be allowed to play and will have to remove their helmet and shoulder pads prior to the start of the game
If your child fails to make all scheduled practices it’s possible he will not be allowed to play in the playoff game. Please make sure to provide Dr’s notes if a child misses practice and also contact the coaching staff prior to practice to notify them that your child will not be able to attend practice.
These games are exciting for everyone. Please remember that there is a PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT. In our registration package there is a PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT that all parents sign when registering your child into the program. If at anytime you do not follow these rules you will be removed from the stadium for that game and you will not be allowed to attend the following playoff game. Parents should not be yelling at kids, coaches or officials. We need to set good examples for the kids.
We hope to see all mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends in attendance Wednesday evening to cheer these kids on. This is a special time in their life that they will never forget so please come out and support them.
Wear your RJP colors and cheer them onto victory !!!
Thank you,
Rico Donati
RJP President
