RULES FOR THE UNDER 8 & UNDER 10 IN-HOUSE TOURNAMENT 2009
The same rules of the game will apply for this tournament as they have all year.
There will be no off sides in the Under 8 Age Group.
There WILL be off sides in the Under 10 Age Group.
SCORING
• 3 POINTS FOR A WIN
• 1 POINT FOR A TIE
• 0 POINTS FOR A LOSS
• O POINTS FOR A SHUT OUT
HOW TO ADVANCE TO THE FINALS WILL BE DETERMINED BY:
? HEAD TO HEAD
? GOAL DIFFERENTIAL WITH A MAXIMUM OF 3 GOALS (GOALS SCORED LESS GOALS ALLOWED)
? LEAST GOALS ALLOWED
FINALS
IF THERE IS A TIE AT THE END OF REGULATION PLAY - THE WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED BY:
• THEN THERE WILL BE 2-5 MINUTE OVERTIMES
• IF NO CLEAR WINNER IS DETERMINED AFTER THE OVERTIME IS COMPLETED, ONLY THEN WILL IT GO TO PENALTY KICKS
