Game summaries usually appear in the Lowell Sun Sports pages on the Wednesday or Thursday after each game. (The Sun sometimes will edit the summaries due to their space constraints, however we will print the complete, unedited version in this space usually after it has appeared in the Sun.)

Week Nine – Oct. 31 & Nov. 1
Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. Leicester/Spencer

The Tyngsboro Jr. Mitey Mites traveled to Leicester/Spencer this past Sunday. The offensive line of Philip Maigetter, Dan Belkas, Ryan Piggott, Jacob Hardy, Andrew Ha, Micah Mcquaide and Aiden Armstrong opened holes for Ryan Gauthier and Tyler Briere all day allowing them to score 4 touchdowns, 3 and 1 respectively. Defensive standouts were Ryan Piggott, Josh Jenkins, Josh Sweetland, Kyle Williams, and Andrew Provencher. The Mighty Mites will play their last 2 games at Saturdays (11/7) Central Mass Mighty Mite Bowl in Tyngsboro.
Senior Mighty Mite (Coach Boyd) vs. Milford
Tigers: 13 – Milford 20.
In the last game of the regular season, The Tigers fought hard but lost a close game to Milford. Scoring for the Tigers: Christian Rogers and Ryan Bue. Congrats to all of the players for a GREAT season: Josh Boyd, Mike Scalia, Ryan Cote, TJ Wilson, Justin Diamantopoulos, Sam Panagiotopoulos, Mitch MacNeill, Mahesh Harpanahali, Kyle Corkum, Alex Boghossian, Dan Otero, Mike Rudewicz, Jeff Woods, Derek Crowley and Spencer Weldon. The 4th grade team will travel to Marlboro on Weds. 11/4 at 7pm, to compete in Round 1 of the Central Mass Play-offs.
Junior Pee Wee (Coach Roderick) vs. Westford/Littleton
Tigers: 13 – Westford/Littleton 0
The 5th Grade, Jr Pee Wee team finish the regular season 8-0, continuing to be undefeated for the 4th year in a row, and making it into the playoffs against a tuff Westford/Littleon Lions team. The defense played an outstanding game holding Westford scoreless, making big plays where Steven Landry, Ty Tumpney, Greg Phillips, Matt Butler, Kyle Laforge. Offensive standouts where Jacob Bue with a 90 yard TD run and Jackson Roderick with a 20 yard TD pass to Nick Murray other offensive standouts where Jacob Enwright, Trevor Neal and Dylan Bogacz. The Tigers move onto the Round 1 of the Central Mass Play-offs with a home field advantage in Tyngsboro at 6:00pm on Weds. 11/4.

Jr. Midget (Coach Dick) vs. Marlborough
Tigers: 13 – Marlborough: 0
The 7th Grade Tigers improved their record to 9-0 this past Sunday with a strong team effort against a tough Marlborough team. Austin Coene scored on a punt return and David Walker scored on a three yard run to cap the the scoring. The line play of Jamie MacDonald, Mike Gillis, Anthony Marsillio, Austin Escott and Krishna Harpanahalli controlled the tempo of the game. Defensively Tyngsboro posted its eighth shutout of the season as the defense swarmed to the ball all afternoon. Randy Dean, David Hanna, Nick Lepore, Kyle Andrade and Mike Leblanc led the defense. Tyngsboro opens the first round of playoffs at home against Westford/Littleton this Wednesday night at 7:30 pm in Tyngsboro.

Sr. Midget (Coach Wagner) vs. Lunenburg
Tigers: 20– Lunenburg: 6
In the final game of the 2009 season, the 8th grade team pulled out a well deserved win. Team Captains Scott Camacho (4 carries, 5 tackles, Pat Sands (4 tackles, 1 sack), and Jack Trottier (2 TD, extra point) lead there team to victory. Kyle butler was a man possessed on defense with 4 solo open field tackles. Dave Bangura had a big day with 100+ yards, TD, and extra point, Sean Engel had his best game of the year at QB, and our most consistent player Derek Lawton had a great game on both sides of the ball. The offensive and defensive teams played as a complete unit. The coaches and parents could not be more proud of this team in the way they fought through all the injuries and low numbers this year. Week Eight – Oct. 25th
Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. Westford/Littleton

The Tyngsboro Jr. Mitey Mites hosted Westford/Littleton @ Pierce Field on Sunday. Tyngsboro played their best game of the season. Phil Sutherland, Evan Robson, Tyler Briere, and Ryan Gauthier executed their first attempt at a double reverse flawlessly scoring a touchdown on the play. The offensive line of Jake Fahey, Jack Wilson, Nick Nieuwkoop, Kevin Connelly, Andrew Provencher, Tom Malen, and Bubba Carney opened holes all day to help Ryan Gauthier score four touchdowns, and Tyler Briere one. Playing well defensively for Tyngsboro were Kyle Williams, Josh Jenkins, Josh Sweetland, and Jacob Hardy. Tyngsboro is hosting the Jr Mitey Mites Bowl in two weeks on November 7th.

Junior Pee Wee (Coach Roderick) vs. Marlborough
Tigers: 24 – Marlborough 6
The Tigers turned in another solid effort Rory Glavin lead the offense with 1 rushing Td and 1 receiving TD from Jackson Roderick. Jacob Bue 1 rushing TD and a kickoff return for a TD rounded out the scoring. Jacob Enwright had a pick for the defense playing well on both sides of the ball were Kevin and Matt Butler, Ryan Richardson, Greg Phillips, Jacob Santiago, Nick Murray and Trevor Neal.
Pee Wee (Coach Dillon) vs. Nipmuc (Mendon/Upton)
Tigers: 12 – Nipmuc: 19
The Pee Wee Tyngsboro Tigers were on the road this week for a rematch against the Nipmuc Warriors. The Tigers struggled to stop the running of attack of the warriors despite Chris Carroll’s best efforts to stuff the middle. Russell Gillis played one of his best games of the year leading the team with his tackles on the field and his motivational speeches in the huddle. Patrick Keaney broke through the line and hit the Nipmuc QB’s arm just as he released his pass to force an incompletion. The Tiger’s smash mouth running style behind the blocks of Jack Wagner, Danny Escot, Austin Desrochers and David Scalia put the tigers on the board 13 to 7. After another score by the warriors the tigers scored on a pass from Jake Lafferty to Jake Keenan. After a big defensive stand the tigers had one last shot but the chips did not fall the tiger way and the game ended 19-12.

Tigers: 26 – Westford/Littleon: 0
Another strong day for the 7th Grade team as they posted their 7th shutout of the season. The defense led by a host of Tigers, Krishna Harpanahalli, Anthony Marsillio, Michael Gillis and Stefan Athas kept Westford off balance for most of the day. Devon Santos, David Walker, Tim Dick, Evan Crowley and Austin Coene all contributed to the scoring as the team rolled to remain unbeaten for the season. Mike Leblanc, Sean Lodovice and James MacDonald continue to anchor the line on both sides of the ball week in and week out.

Playing well on offense for the 8th graders were Dave Bangura, Scott Camacho, Jack Trottier, Kevin Singer, and Brandon Robinson. Playing well on defense were Kyle butler, Coby Alexa, Jack Cornellier, and Sean Hanna.

Tigers: 12 – Nipmuc: 14
Tigers fought hard but came up on the losing end of a great game against Nipmuc (Mendon/Upton). The Offense was lead by Ryan Bue(2 TD), Derek Crowley, Mike Rudewicz and Dan Otero. The defense had a strong second half with 8 straight goal line stands; standouts were Justin Diamantopoulos, TJ Wilson, Jeff Woods and Kyle Corkum.

Pee Wee (Coach Dillon) vs. Nipmuc
Tigers: 7 – Nipmuc: 13
Saturday night lights pitted the Tyngsboro Pee Wee Tigers against Nipmuc in a defensive battle. The Tigers defense came out strong, with some big hits by Russ Gillis and Jonathan Richer. The offense moved the ball behind the blocks of Bobby Panagiotopoulos and Chris Carroll but were unable to score in the first half. The tigers found themselves down 13-0 in the fourth quarter. David Scalia returned to the field and helped move the ball for Tyngsboro’s only score. Jake Keenan had the block of the year for Tyngsboro which sprang Jack Buckley for the lone touchdown. Trailing 13-7 Tyngsboro’s defense stopped Nipmuc on fourth and two with Tommy Marcotte, Scotty Dillon and Jack Wagner combining to make the tackle. Unfortunately the comeback came up a little short as Nipmuc’s defense stopped Tyngsboro to preserve the win. The final score was 13-7.

The 7th grade team improved to 7-0 this past weekend over a rebuilding Leicester/Spencer team. The Tigers scored early with Austin Coene and David Walker leading the attack. Our offense doesn’t move with out the strong play of Nicolas Lepore, James MacDonald, Colin Shanahan, Kyle Andrade and Mike LeBlanc. The defense posted its 6th shutout of the season after confusing the Raiders offense all night. Tim Dick, Andrew Carroll and Austin Escott anchored the defense with the help of a den of swarming Tiger players consisting of Stefan Athas, Michael Gillis, David Hanna, Randy Dean and Tom Jacobs.

In a rebuilding year, filled with injuries, the 8th grade boys took the field under the lights Friday night against a big, tough team from L/S. Playing well on defense were Pat Sands (interception), Scott Camacho (interception), Jack Trottier, Kyle Butler and Morgan Emond (QB sack). Offensively the team moved the ball well, but could not put any points on the board. Playing well on offense were Matt Taft, Sean Engel, Brandon Bursey and Derek Lawton (4 receptions).

Visiting Nipmuc gave the Tyngsboro Jr. Mitey Mites a tough game this past Sunday. Playing well for Tyngsboro offensively were Andrew Provencher, Philip Maigetter, Micah McQuaide, and Danny Belkas. Leading the way defensively were Bubba Carney, Tyler Briere, Evan Robson, Josh Sweetland, and Jake Fahey.

The defense was solid all day lead by Sam Panagiotopoulos(Fumble recovery TD), Jeff Woods(1 force fumble and 2 fumble recoveries), Derek Crowley and Mitch “All I do is force fumbles” MacNeill. The offense was lead by Christian Rogers(TD), Ryan Bue(TD), Mike Scalia, Spencer Weldon and Mahesh Harpanahali.

Scoring for the Tigers were Kevin Butler 70 yrds and 1 rushing TD, Jack Roderick 85 yrds and 1 rushing TD and Jacob Bue 65 yrd TD run and 2 point conversion kick. . Playing well on defense Ryan Richardson, Nick Murray, Kyle Laforge, Rory Glavin, Trevor Neal, Dylan Bogacz, Greg Phillips and Steven Landry.
Pee Wee (Coach Dillon) vs. Ayer/Shirley
Tigers: 19 – Ayer/Shirley: 13
The Tyngsboro Pee Wee Tigers came out this week and won a thriller on Sunday 19-13 over Ayer/Shirley. The tigers opened the game with score from Jack Buckley to Jake Lafferty and the tigers lead 6-0. Ayer/Shirley came back and scored a touchdown and converted the extra point to lead 7-6. Tyngsboro took back the lead 12-7 behind the blocking of Danny Escott and Conor Perrault with Jack Buckley scoring the touchdown. Ayer/Shirley came back and scored and took the lead 13-12. Late in the third quarter Russ Gillis came up with a big sack to slow Ayer/Shirley’s momentum. Scotty Dillon, Patrick Keaney, Brendan Bartlett and an injured Jack Wagner stuffed the middle on fourth and two to help get the ball back for Tyngsboro. On fourth and twenty Jake Lafferty threw a perfect pass to Joey Callahan for a first down. Three plays later Jake Lafferty threw the game winning touchdown to Joey Callahan and Tyngsboro walked away victorious.

The 7th grade team once again dominated a strong Nipmuc team on Sunday. Devon Santos(1 TD) and Austin Coene continue to carry the load in the backfield for the Tigers. Tim Dick had a 10 yard TD reception from David Walker to finish the scoring and left it in the hands of the defense to post their 5th straight shutout. Defensively Andrew Carroll, Stephan Athas, Austin Escott, Michael Gillis and Kyle Andrade were in the backfield all day. Opening the holes for the Tigers on offense were Krishna Harpanahali, Evan Crowley, Sean Lodovice and Mike LeBlanc.

The Tyngsboro Jr Mitey Mites visited Westford over the weekend. Ryan Gauthier led Tyngsboro's offense with 3 rushing touchdowns. Danny Belkas, Aiden Armstrong, Tom Malen, and Brandon Cancilla had strong games for Tyngsboro. Also playing well were Phil Maigetter, Jacob Hardy, Jake Fahey, and Ryan Piggott.

The Sr. Mites played this best game of the season. The offense was lead by Ryan Bue(TD), Kyle Corkum(TD),Josh Boyd, Dan Otero, Mike Rudewicz and Alex Boghossian. The defense had another solid game leading the way was TJ Wilson(fumble recovery),Derek Crowley, Mitch MacNeill, Ryan Cote and Christian Rogers.

Tigers: 26 – Ayer/Shirley: 0
The tiger defense lead by Tommy Lawrenson, Kyle Adamiak, Nadiv Bangura, Tyler Greenslade, Conner Hehir, Mitch Lachs, Trevor Neal, Anthony Priest, Jacob Santiago, and Chase Schroeder keep the broncos off the score board. The offense was lead by Jacob Bue, Rory Glavin, Jackson Roderick and Kyle Laforge each chipping in with a TD.

Jr. Midget (Coach Dick) vs. Westford
Tigers: 32 - Westford: 0
Tyngsboro 7th grade team improved to 5-0 this past weekend after beating Westford 32-0. Austin Coene and Devon Santos were too much for Westford to handle in the backfield. Special teams play continues to be a strong part of Tyngsboro's game resulting in two scores. Evan Crowley had a TD reception and Anthony Marsilio ran one in from the 5 yard line to put the Tigers up for good. The defensive tackle play of Tim Dick and Andrew Carroll continue to be too much for most offensive teams as Tyngsboro has shutout their opponents in the last four games. David Walker, David Hanna, Nick Lepore, Stefan Athas and Austin Escott continue their strong defensive play each week. Tom Jacobs had another great interception to help the field position game.
Sr. Midget (Coach Wagner) vs. Westford
Tigers: 13 – Westford: 25
The 8th grade boys played there best game of the year…despite the loss. Playing tough on defense were Pat Sands (fumble recovery, blocked extra point), Morgan Emond, and Brandon Bursey. Offensively, were able to move the ball well, leading the way was Dave Bangura (80+ yards, TD), Jack Trottier ( TD, extra point), and Derek Lawton ( 65 yard reception).

Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. NIPMUC (Mendon/Upton)

The Tyngsboro Jr. Mighty Mites traveled to Nipmuc this past Sunday and played their first game of the season in the rain. Ryan Gauthier scored a second half touchdown on a run to the outside. Micah McQuaide made his presence known on both sides of the ball. Tyngsboro got strong defensive games from Andrew Provencher, Nick Nieuwkoop, Jake Fahey, Kevin Connelly, and Jacob Hardy.

Tigers: 34 – NIPMUC: 13
The offensive line led the Tigers on a rainy and windy day. Dylan Bogacz, Kevin Butler, Matt Butler, Steven Landry, Greg Phillips, Ryan Richardson and Ty Tumpney opened holes all day for Rory Glavin 2 rushing td’s and 3 extra points; Kyle Laforge 1 rushing td; Jackson Roderick 1 rushing td and a 45 yard td pass to Nick Murray. The entire team played well on both sides of the ball.
Pee Wee (Coach Dillon) vs. Leicester/Spencer
Tigers: 13 – Leicester/Spencer: 19
In one of the best games of the year, the Tyngsboro Pee Wee team fell just short in overtime against Leicester/Spencer 19-13. Jake Keenan scored on a pass from Jake Lafferty that put the Tigers up by 6. The rainy weather made for a tough game but the Tigers never gave up. Down 13 to 6 in the 4th, Scott Dillon, playing the best game of the year, forced an incompletion by the Leicester/Spencer QB. Jack Buckley scored on the very next play from 60 yards out behind some great blocks by Conor Perrault and Austin Desrochers. The defense bent but did not break on the last series of the fourth behind the strong play of Bobby Panagiotopoulos, Joey Callahan and Brendan Bartlett. Lady Luck was not on the Tigers side as Leicester/Spencer scored from one yard to end the game in overtime.

Tigers: 27 - Leicester/Spencer: 0
The Tyngsboro 7th grade football team continued its wining ways with a decisive victory over Leicester/Spenser. Austin Coene had 3 touchdowns and ran tough all afternoon behind the blocking of Austin Escott, Colin Shanahan, Jamie MacDonald and Mike LeBlanc. David Walker was strong at quarterback not fumbling once on a wet afternoon. Tom Jacobs returned an interception for a touchdown late in the game to seal the victory for the Tigers. The defensive line showed their strength again by posting their third shutout of the season. David Hanna, Randy Dean, Anthony Marsilio and Evan Crowley have been a big part of the defense. Special team play again enabled Tyngsboro to jump out to an early lead. They will play a tough Westford team next Sunday in Westford.

Tigers: 0– Leominster: 26
Good games were played by Scoot Camacho (fumble recovery/interception), Brandon Bursey (fumble recovery), and Derek Lawton. The boys had a hard time moving the ball against a big Leominster team. Also playing well were Kyle Butler, Corey Morton, Brandon Robinson, Dave Bangura, and Jack Cornellier.

Week Three – September 19th & 20th
Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. Ayer/Shirley

The Tyngsboro Jr. Mighty-Mites visited Ayer-Shirley this past Saturday. Tyngsboro, with 18 first year players, played their best game of this young season. Tyler Briere and Ryan Gauthier, with Evan Robson leading the way, again provided most of the offensive punch combining for 6 rushing touchdowns. Kyle Williams, had a strong game on both sides of the ball at tailback and cornerback. Phil Sutherland, had a breakout game at defensive end, recording numerous tackles. Also having a strong game for Tyngsboro was Phil Maigetter, Kevin Connelly, Jacob Hardy, and Mark McEnnis
Senior Mighty Mite (Coach Boyd) vs. Nipmuc (Mendon/Upton)
Tigers: 6 - Nipmuc: 0
The Sr. Mites won their first game of the season. The defense stole the spotlight all day lead by Jeff Woods, Derek Crowley, Sam Panagiotopoulos, Mitch MacNeill, Mike Scalia and TJ Wilson. Ryan Bue lead the offense with the only TD of the game; other offensive standouts were Mahesh Harpanahali, Kyle Corkum and Justin Diamantopoulos.
Junior Pee Wee (Coach Roderick) vs. Ayer/Shirley
Tigers: 34 – Ayer/Shirley: 14
Having big days on the offense were Rory Glavin 165 yards rushing; 2 tds and 3 extra points. Jackson Roderick 2 td passes to Nick Murray. Kyle Laforge 1 rushing TD and Conner Hehir with 1 rushing TD. Playing well on defense Matt Butler INT, Kyle Adamiak, Jacob Enwright, Chase Schroeder, Anthony Priest, Mich Lachs and Tyler Greenslade.
Pee Wee (Coach Dillon) vs. Ayer/Shirley
Tigers: 40 – Ayer/Shirley: 19
The 6th Grade Tyngsboro Tigers defeated the Ayer/Shirley Broncos 40-19 under the Lights at the A/S field on Saturday. Key offensive players were Jack Buckley, Jake Keenan and Jake Lafferty. The defense was led by Scott Dillon, Russ Gillis, Brendan Bartlett and Jack Wagner.
Jr. Midget (Coach Dick) vs. Nipmuc (Mendon/Upton)
Tigers: 6 - Nipmuc: 0
Another hard fought game played out on the defensive side of the ball for both squads. Andrew Carroll, Tim Dick and Nick Lepore anchored and out toughed a strong Nipmuc team on the line. Stefan Athas, Anthony Marsilio and Randy Dean Played shut down defense in the secondary. Offensively the lone touchdown score came on a 35 yard run from Austin Coene. Opening the holes for the offense were Krishna Harpanahalli, Jamie MacDonald and Colin Shanahan. Special teams play by Sean Lodovice and Michael Gillis proved to be the difference in the ball game.

Sr. Midget (Coach Wagner) vs. Ayer/Shirley
Tigers: 31 – Ayer/Shirley: 6
Despite a hard fought battle, the 8th grade Tigers suffered a tough loss against Ayer/Shirley. Leading the way for the Tigers were Scott Camacho, Derek Lawton and Corey Morton. Jack Trottier scored on a nice QB keep to put the Tigers on the board. Sean Engel stepped in at QB and did a nice job. Tough running came from Coby Alexa and Kyle Butler. The offensive and defensive line blocked well with the help of Brandon Bursey, Jack Cornellier, Kevin Singer, Brandon Robinson, Morgan Emond, Matt Taft, and Sean Hanna.

Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. Marlboro

The Tyngsboro JMM's hosted Marlboro this past Sunday at Pierce Field. Tyngsboro had strong 2 way play again this week from Ryan Gauthier and Tyler Briere. Leading the defense were John Gilet, Ryan Pigott, Jack Wilson and Bubba Carney.

The Sr Mites (4th Grade) loss a tough game against Marlboro. Standouts for the offense were Kyle Corkum, Dan Otero, Mike Rudewicz, Alex Boghossian and Jeff Woods. The defense standouts were Josh Boyd with an interception, Derek Crowley, TJ Wilson and Christian Rogers. Special Team standout Ryan Cote.

Leading the defense Ryan Richardson, Jackson Roderick, Kevin Butler, Steven Landry, Greg Phillips, Ty Tumpny, Dylan Bogacz, Tommy Lawrenson, Trevor Neal and Jacob Santiago.

The Tyngsboro Pee Wee team recovered from their opening day loss with a strong win against Marlboro on Sunday. The stout defense lead by Patrick Keaney and Chris Carroll shut down the Marlboro offense. On the offensive side of the ball the offense scored four times with Jake Lafferty, Jake Keenan, Jack Buckley and Tommy Marcotte each scoring once. The game ended on two late interceptions by Jake Wagner and Joey Callahan which sealed the fate of Marlboro and helped Tyngsboro preserve their shut out.
Jr. Midget (Coach Dick) vs. Marlboro
Tigers: 13 - Marlboro: 6
The Tyngsboro 7th grade team pulled out another hard fought victory against a strong Marlboro team. Austin Coene and Mike Gillis Made big plays on special teams to seal the victory for the Tigers. Devon Santos scored the final touchdown on a 6 yard run and Tim Dick caught the point after on a pass from David Walker late in the game. Sean Lodovice continues to be a big part of the offense with his acrobatic receptions. Tough running by Nick Lepore and strong blocking from Tom Myers, Evan Crowley ,Krishna Harpanahalli and Colin Shanahan kept the ground game moving. Defensively Austin Escott, Kyle Andrade, Andrew Carroll and David Hanna led the charge for the Tigers.
Sr. Midget (Coach Wagner) vs. Clinton

Our boys played with a lot of heart today against a tough Clinton team. The Sr. Midget team was without some key players including Mike Wagner, David Bangura, and Corey Morton. The defense again played well, giving up only two long plays that went for touchdowns. Strong play on defense came from Coby Alexa, Brandon Robinson, and Derek Lawton. Offensively, Matt Taft was solid at center, Jack Cornellier played well at guard, and the backfield moved the ball well. On special teams, Sean Engle recovered a fumble on the opening kick off, and Morgan Emond hard some big hits.

Junior Mighty Mite (Coach Robson) vs. Milford

The Tyngsboro Tigers Junior Mighty Mites hosted a very strong Milford team at Pierce field this past Saturday. Tyler Briere scored a touchdown with Evan Robson leading the way at fullback. Two way stars for Tyngsboro were Ryan Gauthier, Andrew Provencher, Nick Nieuwkoop, and Bubba Carney. Andrew Ha, Jake Fahey, Josh Jenkins, and Josh Sweetland had a strong game for Tyngsboro.
Senior Mighty Mite (Coach Boyd) vs. Milford
Tigers: 7 - Milford: 9
The Sr Mites (4th Grade) lost a tough game against Milford. The offense was lead by Ryan Bue 1 TD, Mike Scalia, Josh Boyd they got great blocking out of Mahesh Harpanahali, Ryan Cote, Spencer Weldon. The defensive standouts were Sam Panagiotopoulos, Mitch MacNeill, Kyle Corkum, Justin Diamantopoulos, Christian Rogers.

Leading the offense for the tigers was Jacob Bue 3 TD’S 146 yards rushing 56 yd INT for a TD. Rory Galvin 70 yards rushing 1 td 3 extra points and Jackson Roderick 50 yards rushing 1 passing pat. Leading the defense Dylan Bogacz INT, Greg Phillips sack, Kyle Laforge sack 6 tackles, playing well on both sides of the ball Tommy Lawrenson, Ryan Richardson, Nick Murray, Ty Trumpny, Tyler Greenslade and Kevin Butler

The 6th Grade Tyngsboro Tigers played a tough game against Milford. Defense was strong with key plays by Patrick Keaney, Brendan Bartlett, Nick Scalia, and Jon Richer. Offensively Jack Buckley had a stellar game due to strong blocking by Chris Carroll, Austin Desrochers, and Danny Escott.

Tom Jacobs set the tone of the game with an 70 yard interception for a touchdown late in the second quarter to lead tyngsboro over a tough Milford team. The final score was set up with a key third down conversion by Tim Dick and the tigers found the endzone three plays later as David Walker connected with Austin Coene for a 5 yard TD reception. The pass protection of Mike Gillis, Jamie MacDonald and Mike LeBlanc gave the passing game plenty of time. The defense led by hard hitting Andrew Carroll and Austin Escott proved too much for Milford all day. Other standouts anchoring the defense were Stefan Athas, Kyle Andrade, Anthony Marsillio, Nick Lepore and Randy Dean.

The 8th graders from Tyngsboro suffered a tough loss to Milford. Leading the team with some tremendous play on both offense and defense was Scott Camacho. The Tigers defense played well with the help of Pat Sands (forced fumble), Kyle Butler, Jack Trottier, and Sean Engel (recovering a fumble). The Tigers offensive line of Matt Taft, Morgan Emond, Brandon Bursey, and Kevin Singer also played well.
