To all UMAC parents, players and siblings:
As you aware, summer is upon us and the spring UMAC schedule is over. However, baseball continues in one way or another. There will be tournaments at Taylor Field on June 20-21 and June 26-29, and there will be summer maintenance and, of course, fall baseball. For those needing Student Service Learning Hours (sixth grade and above), UMAC is an authorized agent.
For those students looking to gain hours, there is the need of individuals to assist in the Snack Shack and help with field maintenance. For those desiring to assist in the Snack Shack, the students should talk to Gene when he is at the Field and the Snack Shack is open for Tournaments. For those wishing to help with field maintenance related activities, they will continue all during the summer and into the fall. For field related activities, they can contact one of the field maintenance personnel or look to when community Field Maintenance days are posted.
UMAC SSL hour forms will need to be obtained (currently available in the Snack Shack) and completed, submitted to the appropriate activity supervisor and/or a UMAC “Titled” individual such as a Board member for approval, and submitted to your school.
