It is with great sadness that we announce the tragic loss of one of our own, Nicole Jacques. Nicole passed away the morning of May 29, 2014 after a difficult battle with a rare form of liver cancer, she was 14 years old. An eighth grade student at Hudson Memorial Middle School, Nicole touched the lives of many through her school affiliation and her active participation in our cheer organization and tumbled at A2 Gymnastics.  She was a true Bears Cheerleader – dedicated and committed to the sport she loved. 

Her passing is a tremendous loss for her family and all of those who knew her and we extend our thoughts and prayers to the Jacques family, friends, and teammates.  We stand together during this tragedy as we reflect on the wonderful memories we share with Nicole and her family and know that we are not alone. We have an amazing sense of community in our Bears organization and we are here to support one another through this most difficult time.

May you rest in peace, Nicole – we were all fighting with you through this battle and our hope is that you are at peace now.
