Local Sponsorship & Recognition Program

How It Works:
Kendall Hammocks Optimist has created a sponsorship & recognition program for the local community businesses to generate revenue from the KHO web site. This program is very simple to generate added revenue for your business. KHO will create a rotating banner pool to display sponsor banners created with the information from signup sheets. KHO will provide a banner to any merchant who would like to sponsor the KHO Baseball Program.

A sponsor banner sheet will be supplied by KHO to your business, which will be filled out and returned to KHO for the completion of the sponsor banner.

Why would businesses want to advertise on the internet with KHO? Because, the internet is international and most local merchants have no clue how to reach the local community via the internet. The KHO site would allow local merchants the opportunity to do just that! Advertise to local people in their community, for very small contribution we might add. Most parents support merchants that support their children’s sports programs.

Your contribution is 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE, KHO being a 501(c) non-for profit organization. Also, all of the contributions generated go back to the children of the community.

Banner Pool:

What is a banner pool?
A banner is a specially designed graphic created to display information about an advertiser. The banner size is 468 x 60 pixels (this is the standard size). A banner pool is the place where all banners are displayed, which rotate sequentially each time the front page is viewed (nobody is seen more than anybody else). The banner pool runs 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Your banner pool is located at the top of the web page. What is the appeal of having a banner pool as opposed to a sponsor page? Most organizations create sponsor pages, which have to be clicked in order for the sponsor to receive any recognition from your viewers. Most internet viewers won't click on the sponsor page just to read advertisers. With the banner pool they have no choice, it is in your face advertising, hence more recognition. We average over 300 hits to our site every day, and almost 1 million hits total since we started our website back in the year 2000!!!

Who creates the banner?

KHO will take care of creating all banners for the Web site, with information provided by the business.

What does it cost the merchant? ALMOST NOTHING!

There is no actual cost per say! The merchant makes a 100% Tax Deductible Contribution to Sponsor a KHO Team.

A Gold sponsor consists of the following!
1. Web Banner for the entire year on the KHO Web Site.
2. Listed on the Sponsor page
3. Link to either your website or to your banner or both
4. E-Mail address listed
5. Phone Number and address listed
6. Small write up about the business or coupons offered
7. Complete sponsor of a Team in the League
8. Business name either on Team Game Shirts or a large 3' X 5' Banner placed on the fences on the playing field.
9. You also receive a plaque to hang on the wall with a picture of the Team you sponsored recognizing your contribution to KHO and the Community.
10. Sponsor of the MONTH:to be placed in a special spot on website's Main Page for all to see.

Any time someone visits the team, you have sponsored, on the web page your banner will appear on that page.

How much of the revenue goes to KHO?

100% of your tax deductible contribution goes into the operation of the KHO League, Equipment, Uniforms, Field maintenance, Safety equipment, Insurance...

It all goes right back to the children of your community our most valued asset.

Support:
What kind of support is in place?
The advertising system is designed to maintain itself. Once you have made the purchase and we place your business banner in the banner pool, the flight (duration) will automatically end with the season or year of sponsorship, which ever applies.

Exchange of Information & Money:
When does the sale take place with KHO
The business will have to send the sign up sheet with a business card or logo sheet, a check or money order made out to Kendall Hammocks Optimist Baseball, for the pre established amount, before we will start any work.

Local Business Obligations:
The sponsoring business will have three obligations:
1. Send back all sign up sheets to create sponsor banners
2. Supply KHO with a logo or letterhead
3. Send $contribution to Kendall Hammocks Optimist

KHO Obligations:
KHO will have three obligations:
1. create the banner & place it in the banner pool
2. Ensure the sponsor receives their entire contribution package
3. Support any technical questions

Note: Logo and or Art work is only as good as what you supply.

KHO reserves the right to refuse and or remove any sponsor banner at any given time without any warning, the sponsor will then is notified why such action has taken place. We also will not post any banners with pictures or references to tobacco or alcohol products by brand name. But merchants that sell such products will be allowed to sponsor. i.e.: "Mom & Pops Winston cigarette store" is not OK! But "Mom & Pops Grocery Store" is OK even though they might sell tobacco products.

A web banner with out a Team Sponsor may be purchased as a League Sponsor to display sponsor name and business on our league website for a minimal donation.
