About TOTAL BASEBALL DEVELOPMENT

Total Baseball Development (TBD) was formed in 2004 by offering personalized one on one baseball instruction for players of all ages with individualized lessons cover hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, and throwing. A basic fundamental teaching of the game is provided and advances at the pace of the players skill and comprehension levels. These schoolings are used for rapid, sound, and prolific baseball development.

In 2004 TBD also began offering representation and player placement services for professional baseball players. In 2005 TBD branched out into player placement services for high school baseball players and college baseball players.

In August 2005 TBD formed a high school age baseball league named the TBD Fall League. The league was designed to give high school baseball players a structured competitive learning baseball environment formatted to allow the players to be provided with in-game instruction so that they may take full advantage of TBD's developmental program. The basis of the league is to speed up and further the development of the player's baseball skills during the off season in a controlled baseball atmosphere.

TBD continued to offer out-of-season league play and developmental programs with the 2005-2006 Winter Instructional League, the 2006 Fall Competitive League, the 2007 Baseball Shape program, the 2007 Spring Training Instructional League, and the 2007 Fall Competitive League.

In 2008 TBD formed a high school select travel baseball team and called them the Sioux City Bancrofts, in honor of Sioux City native and lone Hall of Fame representative Dave Bancroft. The Bancrofts competed in Premier Baseball's Junior Championship in Joplin, Missouri. TBD continued in the fall of 2008 by it's fourth offering of fall baseball with the 2008 Fall Competitive League. The year was completed by TBD's first ever Hot Stove League, which was an actual indoor hitting league.

2009 was a repeat year as the Sioux City Bancrofts competed in Premier Baseball's Sophomore Championship in Fayetteville, Arkansas. As well TBD offered it's 2009 Fall Competitive League, and succeeded with a record of young sign ups.

TBD in 2010 is starting the new decade and it's 7th year of operation by offering Wednesday Night Pitching Lessons with Joe Bisenius and the 2nd Hot Stove League; both of which will take place in January and February.
