Help Us Build A Solid Foundation!
Wappingers Falls Indians Youth Football and Cheer is a youth organization established as a sports-centered academy to promote the development of strong core values of honor, integrity, courage, and ethics, producing not just strong athletes, but young people of exceptional character. Our organization was founded in 2010 and has seen over 80% growth in the past 5 years with five cheer teams, seven football teams, and a support network of well over one hundred coaches and volunteers. As a non-profit organization, we rely solely on the generosity of our community and established companies who feel a calling to give to a worthwhile cause.
As with all successful programs that experience growth, there comes the demand for more space. In our case, not only did we outgrow the Van Wyck Jr. High School field, but we also need a home to call our own. The Town of Wappinger has recognized this growth, as well as the benefits of our program, and has made available to us a five-acre parcel of land adjacent to the Robinson Lane recreation fields. The site will consist of one main football field with fan seating area, two practice fields, a concession stand and necessary storage. Although the land is raw and needs to be developed, our parents and other volunteers in our community have offered to help us achieve our goal of building our own complex.
At this time, we are reaching out to the community to turn this dream into a reality. We are asking for our local organizations and businesses to help support this goal with a tax deductible monetary donation. All donations are greatly appreciated and will help in the building of our sports field complex. In addition, we have established donor groups:
- Platinum – $25K Donation (incl. featured name on stonework, award presentation, 8’x3’ banner, six PA announcements, full page program ad, and website placement)
- Gold – $10K Donation (incl. plaque, featured name on stonework, 6’x3’ banner, four PA announcements, half page program ad, and website placement)
- Silver – $5K Donation (incl. featured name on stonework, 4’x3’ banner, two PA announcements, quarter page program ad, and website placement)
- Bronze – $2,500 Donation (incl. 3’x2’ banner, name listed in annual program donation page and website placement)
- Indians Supporter – $1,000 Donation (incl. name listed in annual program, named menu item)
