Ohio Valley Region Club Information
There have been some requests regarding club volleyball information, so this is an attempt to consolidate some club information for the Central Ohio area. Club volleyball is completely optional for the participants and not affiliated with the school volleyball team in any way. In fact, Westerville Central had girls playing at 5 different clubs during the 2011-12 club season.

Club volleyball is played after the completion of the school season and typically runs from January through May. Some clubs will start earlier and/or play later depending on the club and the level that the team plays.

Club team tryouts for middle school age girls are typically at the end of October and high school age tryouts typically occur in mid-November. Each club specifies their tryout day/time, so check individual club websites for tryout information. Many clubs will host tune-up clinics in the weeks leading up to tryouts, but it should be noted that high school players may not participate in any club organized activities until the completion of their season.

Most club teams in Central Ohio participate in the Ohio Valley Region (also known as OVR) of USA Volleyball. The Ohio Valley Region website has an extensive amount of information regarding registered clubs, information about selecting a club, officiating information, tournament schedules, etc.

The club information listed below is primaily focused on the Ohio Valley Region of USA Volleyball, but some clubs also compete in tournaments affiliated with the Junior Volleyball Association and/or AAU Volleyball in addition to USA volleyball.
