WEEK 1
WEEK 1 League Results
DIXON vs SANTA ROSA
MITEY MITES 29-24
Terry Bruce, Austin Wristen, Jordan Barnwell, Mace Moreno, Sammy Lindenmuth, Hunter Bradac, Chris Rinetti, Anthony Soucy and Elton Wadlow all blocked hard for Dixon and this allowed the offense to roll up a lot of yards. Jake Giardino had 250 yards rushing on 18 carries. Giardino rushed for 2 Touchdowns and had 2 receptions for 50 yards and another touchdown. Jay Opperman had 2 receptions for 50 yards and 1 touchdown. Jerick Maghoney had 4 receptions for 15 yards. Maghoney also rushed for 60 yards on 8 carries and he scored 2 extra points. Romel Osorio rushed for 45 yards on 8 carries and scored 1 extra point. Quarterback Mitch Moniz rushed for 110 yards and he completed 8 of 12 passes for 110 yards. Dixon's defense fought hard for the entire game against a great offense. Trevor Marshall knocked down 3 passes and made 6 tackles. Tyler Boston, John Abulog, Eli Gordon, Micah Scott-Kelley, Eli Short, Derek Peterson, Michael Barnhill, Hayden Rogers, Carina Davis, Tony Martino, Drew Hansen, and Andrew Taylor also played well on defense.
JR PEE WEE 6-0
Dixon Jr. Pee Wee started the 2009 season with a very tough game against Santa Rosa Stallions. It was a tough 6-0 win for Jr. Pee Wees. Coach Holtemann state, “it doesn’t get any easier with Petaluma away and Windsor at home”. The kids battled up and down the field, finally Max Gorham scored in the last minute and a half. Offensively it was a rough start for Dixon Jr. Pee Wees; Santa Rosa was very physical and had good speed on the corners which made it tough for Dixon to get their outside running game going with Cameron Garlick and Bryce Nakamura. Ben Nefger, QB led Dixon offense all day long as they battle up and down the field. Max Gorman’s tough inside running proved to be the difference as time ran down. The offensive line of, Samual Palchik, Dylan Wentz, Jacob Arnold, Cameron Bibby, Justin Curry and Matt Howitzen battled all day long. The game got more intense after a miscue in the kicking game allowing Santa Rosa with good field position. Coach Holtemann replied, “The kicker just missed the ball, you don’t see that happen that often”. The Dixon defensive played well all day and rose to the occasion stopping Santa Rosa short of the 20 yard line with key plays by Jeremy Cristobal and Marcus Scott. Max Gorman, Alex Cole, George Raymond, George Fountain, Joey Baker, Cameron Garlick, Bryce Nakamura, Andy Woltjen, Cameron Bibby and Joseph Jurardo led the Dixon defense against a very powerful Santa Rosa football team. Jr. Pee Wees also recovered two fumbles one by Bibby and Fountan. The team has a lot of work to do before the next game against Petaluma .
PEE WEE 13-14
The Dixon Pee Wee team lost 21-13. Dixon Wingback Nathaniel Short rushed for a touchdown. Robet Sandle earned the Hit of the Week when he leveled a Santa Rosa defender which allowed Devan Turner to return a punt for a touchdown. Robert Sandle also scored a extra point.
JR MIDGETS 18-12
The Jr. Midgets Rams played a tough game versus the Stallion on Saturday in Dixon. Dixon defense came up big with 2 blocked punts one recovered by Luke Starnes and the other returned 35 yards for a TD by Jordan Vigil. The Rams grinded out a tough 185 yards against Santa Rosa’s swarming defense. Brian Rinetti scored a TD and lead the team with 89 yards rushing. Roddrick Douglas scored the other TD to give the Rams 18 points. The defense was lead by Micheal Scott who had 10 tackles followed by Jackson Bird with 9, Ethan Rogers, Anthony Murphy and Luke Starnes each had 8. “we played a very tough team and I expect them to be in the play-offs” said Coach Clay.
MIDGETS 0-13
The Dixon Midgets played very physical football but lost the season opener 13-0.

WEEK 2
WEEK 2 LEAGUE RESULTS
DIXON vs PETALUMA
MITEY MITES 33-0
Mitey Mites played a stellar game. The defense was strong and unrelenting. The defensive line consisting of Hayden Rogers, Drew Hansen, Tony Martino, Chris Rinetti, Andrew Taylor, Micheal Barnhill penetrated offense throughout the day. It was the linebackers and conerbacks Trevor Marshall, John Abulog, Eli Short, Eli Gordon, Tyler Boston, Micah Scott-Kelley that came up and stuffed the run game with speed and tenacity. The special teams were the stars of the day recovering three onside kicks two of them by Jay Opperman. The offense played another solid game with four different players scoring touchdowns. On offense Jerick Maghoney had 93 yards rushing on 9 carries and two touchdowns. Maghoney also had three receptions for 20 yards and an extra point. Mitchell Moniz had a break out game rushing for 90 yards on 4 carries and a touchdown. Jake Giardino continued his strong rushing performance with 113 yards rushing on 6 carries and 2 touchdowns. Romel Osorio scored for the first time on an 18 yard jaunt up the middle. Osorio finished the day with 60 yards on 9 carries. The offensive line consisting of Mace Moreno, Austin Wristen, Jordan Barnwell, Elton Wadlow, Jay Opperman, Anthony Soucy and Terry Bruce and Sammy Lindenmuth moved the ball at will and controlled the line of scrimmage.
JR PEE WEE 32-0
The Dixon JPW's defeated the Petaluma Panthers 32-0. Offensively, Dixon got off to a fast start Cameron Garlick scoring on a 60 yard touchdown. Garlick also scored again at the end of the second half as time was running out. Bryce Nakamura also scored two touchdowns against Petaluma. A 50 yard touchdown and another one of 20 or more yards. Marcus Scott also scored on a 10 yard run. Offensive line of Jacob Arnold, Alex Cole, Dylan Wentz, Cameron Bibby, Matt Howitson, Justin Curry and Jesse Camarillo did a nice job upfront for Dixon. Max Gorham also ran hard. Ben Nefger led the offense all day long. On the defensive side Dixon stood strong all day long, never threatened by Petaluma. "It was another great job," said coach Holtemann. Dixon's defense moves fast and hits hard and they are only going to get better. They are George Fountain, George Raymond, Joey Baker, Marcus Scott, Bryce Nakamura, Cameron Garlick, Cameron Bibby, Alex Cole, Max Gorham, Joey Jurardo and Austin Coyle.
PEE WEE 12-6
Devan Turner and Nathaniel Short both scored touchdowns for the Pee Wee Rams. Robert Sandle, Noah Morris, Nik Georges, Tyler Wentz, Steven Walker, Anthony Riley, Mason Vita, Coy Chance, Joe Jimenez and Jordan Coats also played well for the Rams offense. Charles Moore, Austin Fry, Isaiah Myers, Erik Barragan and Justin McDonald blocked hard for the wedge team offense. Zach Plowman, Nolen Duarte, Isaiah Bueno, Austin Fountain, Davis Montano and Jorge Jimenez played well on defense. Noah Morris had a couple of nice receptions and played very physical while playing Nose Guard. Nathaniel Short earned the "Hit of the Week" jersey.
JR MIDGETS 38-12
The Jr. Midget Rams beat the Petaluma Panthers 38-12 on Sunday in Petaluma. The Rams offense tallied up 486 yards of offense on the day. BJ Rinetti scored 2 TD’s and rushed for 90 yards playing fullback. Micheal Scott and Roddrick Douglas each had 83 yards rushing. The Rhino offensive line with Seth Clay, Jordan Vigil, Jackson Bird, David Aarhus, Greg Tobias, Nathan Gates, Antwan Whitley and Chad Baptiste played a flawless game. “I could sell this video to coaches on how to block in the double wing system” says Coach Clay. QB Tyler Fullerton passed for 123 yards and connecting with Chad Baptiste for 2 TD passes and a extra point. Tyler also score a TD on a QB sneak of 1 yard. The Bison Offense also had a great game, the backfield of Jordan Vigil, Jackson Bird, Anthony Murphy, Luke Starnes and Lem Osorio Combined for a total of 107 yards with Jordan scoring a TD. Blocking for the Bison running backs was Austen Thompson, Ben Gore, Alexis Lopez, Ryan Butler, Carlos Ramirez, David Aarhus and Greg Tobias. The Rams Defense played equally as well only giving up 12 points. Nathan Gates had a breakout game with 14 tackles followed by Jackson Bird with 9, Ethan Rogers with 7 and Blake Becker with 6. “We only have 22 players and they get tired out there. I like the fact I just keep plugging players in all over the place and they produce” added Coach. Roddrick Douglas had an interception and added 3 onside kick recoveries to propel the JM’s to Victory.
MIDGETS 16-6
The Midget Rams played a very tough Petaluma Team to a 16-6 VICTORY on Sunday in Petaluma. The two teams played smash mouth football for a Quarter and ½, when Fredrick Douglas picked off a pass on the Petaluma sidelines. The Rhino Offense went to work in the 2 minute drill behind the blocking of Angel Resendez, Emilio Castro, Kyle Riley, Craig Roscoe, Nick Bonovich, James Nix, Nolan Williams and Tyler Allen. “It was a work of art” Coach D said. “It was the spark this team needed to get a little Swagger” Coach added. Devan Trujillo scored the Rams first TD of the year on a counter and Kyle Riley added the extra point kick to make the score 8-0 at halftime. Dixon kicked to Petaluma start the second half and they drove the field and after a few tries scored but missed their extra point kick. Dixon lead 8-6 when Petaluma kicked off and on came the Bison Offense lead by Devan Trujillo at QB. On the first play from scrimmage the Bison Line, Parker Long, Marcus Gomez, Andrew Garcia, Chris Meek, Maverick Miller, Jackson Schuetz and Javier Castro opened a hole for Kyle Riley who sprinted 45 yards down Petaluma’s sideline. After 3 more plays of amazing blocking Hayden Fry scored on a 2 yard wedge. Kyle Riley made the kick giving the Rams a 16-6 lead in the 3rd quarter. That’s when the Rams Defense pinned backed their ears and dealt out some good old fashion defense. Nick Bonovich had an interception and played as hard as anyone could play sideline to sideline. Hayden Fry and the Defensive Lineman Andrew Dudley, Mark Matol, Tyler Allen, Emilio Castro, Angel Resendez and plenty of other guys controlled the line of scrimmage while the secondary of Devan Trujillo, Fredrick Douglas, Nolan Williams, Geo Ventura and Kyle Riley did a complete shutdown of the Petaluma passing Game. “We will see that team again” said Coach D “that is a playoff team we just went to battle with” he added. The Dixon Midgets had lost 12 games in a row over the pass 3 season. “I told them in the locker room if the play hard from the 1st whistle to the last, they would be hard to beat” Coach Ray said. This is a big step forward in the future of turning the Midget program around in Dixon.

WEEK 3 LEAGUE RESULTS
DIXON vs WINDSOR
DIXON HAD A OUTSTANDING DAY AGAINST THE POWERFUL WINDSOR KNIGHTS.

JR PEE WEE'S 6-0
Dixon Jr. Pee Wees beat Windsor Knights 6-0 to improve their record to 3-0. Strong defense again was Dixon ’s weapon. Max Gorham scored a touchdown in the second quarter to put Dixon up 6-0. The Dixon JPW put themselves in a hole the last couple of minutes of the game. Coach Holtemann said, “We tried to take a safety but it didn’t go right.” The kids didn’t panic and as Windsor got the ball inside Dixon ’s 10 yard line. The defense of George Raymond, Cameron Garlick, George Fountain, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Max Gorham, Alex Cole, KC Holtemann, Marcus Scott and Bryce Nakamura came up big and stopped the Knights from scoring to secure the game. Offensively the kids moved the ball up and back the field but penalties hurt Dixon . The offensive line played well at times but JPW’s still have work to do. Ben Nefger again did a good job at quarterback and Cameron Garlic, Bryce Nakamura, Marcus Scott and Max Gorham ran hard all day.
PEE WEE'S 26-6
Head Coach Troy Fry said, "Dixon's Pee Wee's played some smash mouth football today". Coach Fry gave the credit to Dixon's offensive and defensive lines by stating, "Coach Georges is doing a great job with our linemen. Our offensive and defensive lines dominated the line of scrimmage today". Coach Fry said, "Davis Montano was off the hook today! Montano made numerous sacks, solo tackles and he caused a fumble while playing defensive end". Tyler Wentz, Nik Georges, Mason Vita, Steven Walker, Anthony Riley, Jordan Coats, Coy Chance, Charlie Moore, Austin Fry, Isaiah Myers, Zach Plowman, Erik Barragan, Nolen Duarte, Austin Fountain, Isaiah Bueno and Joe Jimenez all played tough hard nose football on the offensive and defensive lines. Coach Fry also commended the play of Devan Turner by stating, "Devan Turner was phenomenal today! He made some awesome blocks, ran hard up the field and scored a touchdown on offense as well as making numerous tackles on defense". Nathaniel Short scored a touchdown, intercepted 2 passes and made numerous tackles on defense. Robert Sandle scored a touchdown and an extra point. Coy Chance made a fantastic catch in the end zone for a extra point. Nik Georges blocked and ran hard with the ball behind the wedge and he earned the "Hit of the Week" jersey on defense. Noah Morris had several nice receptions and short yardage runs for key first downs. Morris also scored a touchdown but it was called back on a penalty.
JR. MIDGETS 20-6
The Dixon Jr. Midgets started out the day with an incredible well executed drive by the Rhino offense. A pass from Tyler Fullerton to Chad Baptiste set the plate for a 4 yard run by Roddrick Douglas. BJ Rinetti caught a pass from Tyler for the extra point, BJ also had an excellent day on defense. Roddrick finished the day with 103 yards and 2 TD’s and an interception on defense. Micheal Scott had a big game for the Rams with 83 yards and his 1st TD of the year with a 15 yard run. The Rams ended the game with 345 yards on offense. “Bison offense was on fire today. the line did an extremely good job today” answered Coach Jason when asked. The Bison Running backs Anthony Murphy, Jordan Vigil, Jackson Bird and Lem Osorio tallied 109 yards behind the blocking of Austen Thompson, Carlos Ramirez, Antwan Whitley, Ben Gore, Ryan Butler, David Aarhus and Greg Tobias. “ The line is the heroes of our team. They come to practice every day and they have to hear us as coaches tell them they missed block’s here and there and they have to get better” says Coach Clay. “Without those boys in the trenches blocking their hearts out for the team, we wouldn’t win a game” Coach added. The Rams defense keep the Knight’s off the field with interceptions by Chad Baptiste, Anthony Murphy, Micheal Scott and a Fumble recovery by Jackson Bird. Nathan Gates who had another stellar game on the offensive line and on defense also recovered an Onside Kick. The Rams Defense never allowed Windsor to get into their typical game rhythm. They like to play power football in the 1st half and spread it out in the 2nd, but the Rams had total of 59 offensive plays to keep the Knight’s off the field. “This is an amazing group of boys who have been playing for Coach Jason and I for a couple of years now. They just keep losing players every year and they just keep winning” said Coach Clay.
MIDGETS 31-0
After beating Petaluma before the holiday weekend the Midget Rams came back with a new attitude towards winning. “They feel like they can be competitive in every game. It’s been a long time since some of our boys have felt that way” said Coach Dalton. This was a coming out party for Nick Bonovich who rushed for 156 yards and 2 TD’s and an extra point. Nick also played huge on the Rams defense to keep the Knight’s without a score. Kyle Riley, Fred Douglas and Kriag Roscoe tallied 97 yards behind the Bison Line with Roscoe and Douglas scoring TD’S. Kyle Riley converted on 3 extra point kicks along with intercepting a pass on defense. Hayden Fry added a TD and 52 yards rushing with 1 pass completion from the QB spot. “The big story here is not the offensive production by us. It’s the defensive effort put out by our 1st year players. Our Blue Defensive Group played almost 3 quarters of football this week” said Coach Ray. Mark Matol, James Nix, Emilio Castro, Javy Castro, Marcus Gomez, Tyler Allen, Billy Mistler, Jackson Schuetz, Chris Meek, Andy Garcia, Maverick Miller and James Dudley played big on Blue Defense. Meek and Schuetz each picking off a pass from the Knight’s QB in the 4th quarter. “This was a great opportunity for our 1st year players to get a lot of time on both sides of the ball. I was really impressed with the way they all stayed composed on the field” said Coach Dalton. “Every player on this team has to get better every week, if we are to make a play-off run” added Coach Dalton. The Rams also welcomed back John Short from and off season leg injury. John played a limited role but looked like he will only get stronger week by week.

WEEK 4 LEAGUE RESULTS
DIXON vs ROHNERT PARK
MITEY MITES 26-33
JR PEE WEE 31-0
Dixon JPW’s came out strong again and defeated Rohnert Park Warriors 31-0. Bryce Nakamura started off with the first of his three touchdowns on a 10 yard run. The second touchdown was a 5 yard run set up by KC Holtemann’s 55 yard run. Then Ben Nefger completed a nice 20 yard throw and catch to Nakamura.
The longest touchdown of the day was an 85 yard run by KC Holtemann. Marcus Scott then added a 30 yard run touchdown to put the game into scrimmage. The offensive line blocked well all day they are Justin Curry, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Alex Cole, Xavier Wabaunsee, Dylan Wentz and Jesse Camarillo. On the defensive side the Ronhert JPW’s did not pose a threat to Dixon. Coach Holtemann said, “Our defense has played hard and fast all year long we have not given up a touchdown in our first four games, that’s pretty good.” The defensive unit of Max Gorham, George Raymond, George Fountain, Austin Coyle, Joey Jurardo, Jeremy Cristobal, Bibby, Nakamura, Scott, Holtemann, Baker and Cole. Other standouts were Devon Haywood, Devonte Haywood, Matt Hendrix, Andrew Minai, Andy Woltjen, Samual Palchick and Matt Howitson. The kids are performing well and getting better every week and looking forward to their next challenge that will be on the road for the next four weeks.
PEE WEE 21-12
JR MIDGETS 14-20
The Jr. Midgets Rams lost their 1st game of the season on Saturday against a very strong Rohnert Park team. “we were sleep walking, just like last year’s Ukiah game” said Coach Jason. The Rams were definitely not themselves this week. The Rams still put up its usual 300 plus yards of offense, but they fumbled the ball away 4 times in the game. “ If you told me this team would fumble 4 times this season I would have said no way. We fumbled 4 times in one game” said Coach Clay surprisingly. Jackson Bird had 9 tackles in the 1st half before leaving the game with a sore back. The Warriors took a 6-0 lead into halftime. The 1st time the Rams had been trailing all season. The Rams came back out n the second half still not feeling it. the Warrior’s took a 20-0 lead into the 4th quarter. The Rams finally woke up with 6 minutes left in the game when Roddrick Douglas broke off a 72 yard run for a TD. The Jr. Midgets stop the Warriors with a 3 and out and seized the momentum. That’s when Tyler Fullerton took over and started passing the ball all over the field. Tyler moved the Rams down the field before hitting Roddrick with a 35 yard TD pass. The Rams had control of the game, unfortunately the clock was working against them. “My team showed great heart today. they didn’t lose, they just ran out of time. In youth football when one team puts up 20-0 lead the other team usually just fades away” said Coach Clay. “I was so proud of all the boys. They fought back and didn’t hang their heads. They scored 14 points in 5 minutes and I had no doubt in my mind if would have gotten the ball it would have been at least a tied ball game” added Coach. The Rams move on to play Central City Phantoms this week. “we will be ready this week. I can see a real hungry look in their eyes after losing” said Coach Bird when asked. It’s a long season with 7 more regular games left before the play-offs.
MIDGETS 33-14
The Midgets started the game with a Bang, Hayden Fry connected with Devon Trujillo for a 65 TD pass only to have it called back for a block in the back. That didn’t slow down the Rams though. Nick Bonovich and the Rhino smashed the ball down the field for a score. Nick had another great day with 107 yards rushing, 2 rushing TD’s, 75 yards receiving and a TD reception. Hayden Fry had 98 yards passing with 1 TD pass on the day. Also scoring TD’s on Saturday was Kyle Riley and Fredrick Douglas behind the blocking of the Bison Offensive line. “I just keep watching these guys get better and better every week” says Coach Jason. The Rams ended the day with a total of 334 yards on offense. the defense was just as spectacular behind the play of linebacker Kriag Roscoe who had 13 tackles. Helping out the Rams with key turnovers was Tyler Davis and Andrew Garcia with fumble recoveries and Devon Trujillo with an interception. Dixon also recorded 7 sacks on defense behind the break out play of Garrett Torres with 2 sacks. Dixon moves on this week to meet Central City at Santa Rosa High School on Sunday.

DIXON vs CENTRAL CITY
MITEY MITES 30-0
Dixon's Mitey Mites defeated the Phantoms 30-0. Jerick Maghoney rushed for 125 yards on 7 carries and scored 2 point after toucdowns. Jake Giardino had 3 carries for 65 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. Romel Osorio had 5 carries for 75 yards. Jay Opperman had 1 reception for 30 yards and a touchdown. Mitch Moniz had 125 yard rushing touchdown and 1 passing touchdown for 30 yards. Micah Kelley had a 50 yard touchdown. Trevor Marshall had a 45 yard touchdown. Eli Gordon had 3 solo tackles, 8 assists and 1 sack. Eli Short had 1 solo tackle and 6 assists. Tyler Boston had 3 solo tackles, 6 assists and 1 sack.
JR PEE WEE 33-0
The Dixon JPWs beat the Central City Phantoms 33-0. The game was put into scrimmage at the end of the first half. The game started off with Marcus Scott taking the opening kickoff back for a 70 yard touchdown. Bryce Nakamura had a 40 yard touchdown run, followed by Ben Nefger’s pass to KC Holtemann for a 55 yard touchdown. Then Max Gorham scored a 10 yard touchdown. All this could not happen without the outstanding blocking of Dixon’s offensive line, they are Jesse Camarillo, Sam Palchick, Cameron Bibby, Jake Arnold, Alex Cole Dylan Wentz, Justin Curry, Matt Howitson, Jacob Robinson, Xavier Wabaunsee and Andy Woltjen. Adding extra points for the Dixon JPWs were Matt Hendrix, Nakamura and Nefger. Dixon defense again did not give up any touchdowns for the fifth game in a row. In addition, Dixon defensive tackle Austin Coyle stripped a Central City Phantom’s runner of the football and returned it for a 30 yard touchdown. George Raymond and KC Holtemann also had interceptions for the Dixon’s defense. Defensively, the kids are flying around and having fun, they are George Raymond, Cameron Bibby, Joey Baker, Austin Coyle, Bryce Nakamura, Marcus Scott, Joey Jurardo, KC Holtemann, the Haywood brothers, Jeremy Cristobal, Andrew Manai and Matt Hendrix. Dixon JPWs travel to Ukiah, the battle of the undefeated JPW’s.
PEE WEE 31-0
Dixon's Pee Wees defeated the Phantoms 31-0. Devan Turner, Nathaniel Short, Jordan Coats and Coy Chance all scored rushing touchdowns. Nathaniel Short completed a touchdown pass to Coy Chance. Coy Chance also caught a extra point. Devan Turner intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown. Every kid on the Pee Wee team got a chance to run the ball except for the Center who had to snap the ball because the other Center was injured. Anthony Riley got the 'Hit of the Week".
JR MIDGETS 41-13
The Jr. Midget Rams got back on track this week with a win over the Central City Phantoms. The Rams tallied 347 yards of offense on the day. Roddrick Douglas had 157 yards and 2 TD’s rushing along with a 44 yard TD reception and 2 kicked extra points. Jackson Bird scored his 1st TD of his young football career behind the great blocking of the Bison lineman David Aarhus, Greg Tobias, Ryan Butler, Austen Thompson, Alex Lopez, Ben Gore and Carlos Ramirez. “ It’s amazing how effective that group of players when they are on the field together. They work really hard in practice to get good” said Coach Jason. Jackson also had 9 tackles and a sack on defense. Strong and Steady BJ Rinetti had 51 yards rushing and 2 TD’s in the game. BJ also contributed on defense with 10 tackles. Also, strong on defense was Nathan Gates with 8 tackles, Chad Baptiste with 7 tackles and an interception, jordan vigil had a fumble recovery and 5 tackles. “We started out kind of slow on defense today. it was about 120 on the turf at the start of the game. I was mixing kids in all over the place trying to keep the off the field and getting plenty of water” Coach Clay said. “I am a real stickler for sideline rules. It was so hot I let my player’s take their helmets off when they were not in the game. In all my years of coaching I can’t remember ever allowing that to happen” Coach added. The Rams controlled the game with a quick start and a strong finish. The Rams go to Ukiah to play the Lions on Saturday October 3rd. The Jr. Midgets pushed their record to 4-1 and stay in second place behind the mighty PAL Golden Bears who they play after Ukiah.
MIDGETS 22-42
The Midget Rams lost on Sunday to the Undefeated Phantoms 42-22.” The score was not the story here tonight. We didn’t tackle and take control of our opportunities when we had them in 4th and long situations on defense” said Coach Clay. The Rams took the opening kick-off drove the ball the distance with Fredrick Douglas scoring from the 11 yard line. The Phantoms answered right back with a TD. The Rams Bison Offense took over on the second possession and drove the ball down the field for a Hayden Fry QB sneak for a TD, Kyle Riley makes extra point kick. With the game at a steady grind now the Phantoms score again after a Rams fumble. The Phantoms take a 22-16 lead with only 1:46 left in the second quarter. The Rams take the kick-off and drove the ball down the field with key passes from Hayden Fry to Nick Bonovich. Nick made a spectacular TD catch with only 4 seconds left in the half to tie the game. On the play Nick suffered a stinger in his neck and shoulder area and was taken to the nearest hospital and released shortly after. The Midgets expect Nick back to practice on Tuesday. “we had that team huffing and puffing out there. The injury to Nick and the delay, followed by halftime really gave the Phantoms back their wind” commented coach Dalton. The Rams just couldn’t muster up any fight after losing their teammate and friend. The Rams move on after this lose and look forward to seeing them again in the playoffs. The Ukiah Lions are next on the schedule next Saturday in Ukiah for a game under the lights.

DIXON vs UKIAH LIONS

The Rams' offense racked up nearly 500 yards, beating the Ukiah Lions 51-21. Jake Giardino continued to run well, rushing for 212 yards on 8 carries and 3 TD's. Romel Osorio had a huge game with 3 touchdowns of his own and 125 yards rushing on only 4 carries. Mitch Moniz had one rush but made the best of it scoring from 30 yards out. Mitch was 6/13 for 35 yards, hitting one of his favorite targets Jerick Maghoney for 4 of the completions. Jerick also had two receptions from Jake totalling 45 yards in the air. The offense line which includes Mace Moreno,Terry Bruce, Austin Wristen, Elton Wadlow, Sam Lindenmuth, Anthony Soucy and Jay Opperman had an outstanding day blocking freeing up the backs to run through the Lions' defense. The Rams' defense got off to slow start letting the Lions score on their first three possessions, leaving the score at halftime 38 -21. The Rams' defense went into halftime with their heads hanging low but came out with a vengence after coach Jeff Maghoney offered them a challenge and the Rams held the Lions scoreless in the second half. John Abulog recorded his first interception and ran it back for 20 yards. The entire defense which includes Tyler Boston, Trevor Marshall, Eli Gordon, Eli Short, Micah Kelley, Drew Hansen, Derek Peterson, Hayden Rogers, Tony Martino, Micheal Barnhill and Chris Rinetti really stepped up their game in the second half to keep the Lions at bay.
The 5-0 Dixon JPWs traveled up to face the 5-0 Ukiah Lions and came out victorious with a 21-0 win. The Dixon offense ate up the clock and controlled the ball the whole game. Max Gorham and Bryce Nakamura were the work horses on offense. Max Gorham scoring two touch downs inside the ten yard line and KC Holteman punched one touchdown from the one yard line. Ben Nefger ran the offense well and the offensive line blocked well, they are Jesse Camarillo, Cameron Bibby, Dylan Wentz, Jake Arnold, Xavier Wabaunsee, Alex Cole, Samuel Palchik, Justin Curry and Matt Howitson. Coach Holtemann praised their defense for putting up their sixth straight shut out. They are playing hard and fast just like Coach Baker tells them too. They are George Raymond, George Fountain, Joey Baker, Austin Coyle, Bibby, Nakamura, Holtemann, Marcus Scott, Jeremy Cristobal, Cole and Joey Jurardo. It’s been fun watching these kids play. They are really getting after it. The kids are pumped for the next battle against Redwood Pal Golden Bears

DIXON vs REDWOOD PAL
MITEY MITES 29-0
Mitey Mites added another notch to their belts by downing Redwood PAL of Santa Rosa by a score of 29-0. The defense was the big story in this game not letting the Bears score and allowing only four first downs. The Rams it did with gang tackling and hard hitting causing the Bears to fumble five times and Rams recovering two of them. One by Drew Hansen and the other by Eli Short. The Rams also forced two interceptions both by Micah Scott-Kelley earning him the defensive player of the game. Offensively, the Rams kept the Bears guessing scoring at will. The Rams had four different players that scored. Led by offensively player of the game Jake Giardino 3 Td's on 4 carries for 131 yards. Jerick Maghoney found the endzone and had 81 yards on 11 carries and added 96 yards receiving. Romel Osorio also scored with 8 carries for 59 yards, Romel had an 80 yard TD called back due to penalty. Jay Opperman the Rams' TE had 60 yards on 3 receptions and a TD.

Despite the change in weather the JPWs continue to play strong football defeating Redwood Pal Golden Bears 31-0, for their sevenths straight win and seventh straight shut out. Dixon started off slow but didn’t take them long to get it going. The offense drove down to the five yard line and Max Gorham punched it in for a touchdown with Bryce Nakamura scoring the extra point. Nakamura had two touchdowns, a 20 yard touchdown and another 15 yard touchdown pass from Ben Nefger. Right before the end of the second half the JPWs pull off a nice 45 yard hook and lateral from Nefger to Jesse Camarillo who pitched it back to KC Holtemann who took it the distance for a touchdown. That hurt the Golden Bears. This could not have happened without the offensive line, they are Sam Palchik, Alex Cole, Cameron Bibby, Xavier Wabaunsee, Matt Howitson, Jake Arnold, Jesse Camarillo and Justin Curry. Ben Nefger had his best passing of the year. He successfully threw six and completed five, two passes to Curry, two to Camarillo and one to Nakamura. Dixon defense again stood strong as their scoreless streak came close to an end as the Golden Bears approached the five yard line. The pressure only made the defense stronger, they stopped the Bears. They are George Raymond, George Fountain, Joey Baker, Austin Coyle, Bibby, Cameron Garlick, Cole, Gorham, Holtemann, Nakamura, Marcus Scott, Joey Jurardo and Jeremy Cristobal. JPWs hope to keep up with their winning ways as they face the Healdsburg Bulldogs.
