Each year the Optimist Club of Miami Lakes awards $1000.00 to a Boy and a Girl who have Participated in the Optimist Club of Miami Lakes programs for a minimum of three years and excels in School and the Community! Nominations are made by the Coaches.
To be considered for the Roland Gomez Scholarship Award, the nominee must attach a copy of the scholastic and conduct grades along with the application. You can download the application from the Optimist Club website listed below, under the Roland Gomez Award link.
