On Saturday, August 11, 2012 our conference (Central Jersey Pop Warner) will once again be holding its annual coaches conference at OUR Community Center. It is expected that over 200 coaches attend this clinic each year.
We have gotten special permission from them to provide breakfast and a luncheon that day as a fundraiser for our organization (football and cheer)! It is such a great opportunity for us so we need your help!
We are in the process of preparing a simple breakfast and buffet style luncheon where our guests can pay a small fee and have great home cooked meal and beverage. These guests are coming from all over Central Jersey and many of them are not familiar with the restaurants in the Monroe area. Our setup is perfect because they can get lunch without having to find their way around!
This is what we need from YOU, our parents:
We need parents to volunteer to make a tray of food.
If we get a bunch of volunteers to make ONE tray,
much of our work will be done!
Right now, the people that have volunteered to cook
are the same people that coach, do paperwork, and run other fundraisers.
So please do your part!!! We need the following items!
PLUS, IF YOU PARTICIPATE - IT COUNTS TOWARDS YOUR WORKBOND HOURS!
JUST FOR DONATING A TRAY OR TWO OF FOOD!!!
DONATIONS NEEDED & HOURS CREDITED
Baked Ziti ½ tray = 1 hour (10 ½ trays needed)
Meatballs ½ tray = 1 hour (10 ½ trays needed)
Sausage/Peppers ½ tray = 1 hour (10 ½ trays needed)
Chicken Wings ½ tray = 1 hour (10 ½ trays needed)
Tossed Salad 1 full tray = 1 hour (6 ½ trays needed)
Potato Salad ½ tray = 1 hour (6 ½ trays needed)
Macaroni Salad ½ tray = 1 hour (6 ½ trays needed)
Bagels 2 dozen = 1 hour (6 dozen needed)
Rolls 3 dozen = 1 hour (12 dozen needed)
Desserts (Home made ONLY) = Cakes, Cupcakes, Pies, Cookies etc time credited will be based upon what you are making and how much/many you will be donating.
We also need volunteers to help with this event. You will be credited 1 hour for each hour you work. Start time is 8am.
Items will be assigned based on who asks first.
Items will need to be brought to the Community Center on the 11th at 10:30 and brought HOT.
We will have sternos to keep warm.
