Chris Ferraro - Director and Junior Team Coach
In 2000, Chris co-founded "The Jags", a competitive cheerleading program in the northwest NJ area. Since then she has had the opportunity to coach hundreds of talented athletes at all levels of the Jags program and learn from the many exceptional coaches who have joined or assisted the Jags family. Chris will be coaching the Junior Level 3 team this season. She is a former 1979-1983 Lenape Valley Regional High School Varsity Cheerleader, and coached the North Warren Patriots Youth Football Cheerleaders and Blairstown Youth Wrestling Cheerleaders from 1999-2001. From 2003-2004 Chris served as a delegate for the North Jersey Midget Cheerleading Association.
Chris is certified as follows:
UCA Coaching & Judging, AACCA Coaching Certification, United States Gymnastics Federation (USAG) Safety Certification, Atlantic Cheer & Dance Championships All Star Judging Certified and CPR and Defibrillator Certified.
In addition Chris has completed United States All Star Federation (USASF) hands-on training and written testing for the following:
Stunts: USASF up to Level 5
Tumbling: USASF up to Level 5
Tosses: USASF up to Level 5
Michelle Jimenez - Co-Director and Youth Team Coach
Michelle came to the Jags a few years ago, and has coached their Senior 2, as well as their Senior 3 teams... Aside from coordinating the Jags Fall Spirit Challenge, this year she has taken on the role of Co-Director and will be coaching the Youth team for the '09-'10 Season. Michelle brings to the Jags a diverse cheer background, having either cheered or coached since the age of 10. A former Parsippany High School Varsity Cheerleader, she began coaching and teaching cheerleading clinics with various organizations. She has judged try-outs throughout the NJ area, and Coached for the Mt. Olive Junior Marauder Cheerleading Association for 5 years.
Michelle is NYSCA Certified, USAG Safety Certified and CPR Certified.
Michelle has completed United States All Star Federation (USASF) hands-on training and written testing for the following:
Stunts: USASF up to Level 3
Tumbling: USASF up to Level 3
Tosses: USASF up to Level 3
Kelly Guisewhite - Senior Team Coach
Kelly is currently in her fourth year with the North Jersey Jaguar All Stars and coaches the Senior Level 3 team and Adult Team. She cheered from 1999-2003 at Villanova University on their Co-Ed Team and was named Captain for 2 years. She is a former Lenape Valley High School Varsity Cheerleader. She has judged several UCA competitions and tryout across NJ/PA.
Kelly is CPR Certified and has completed United States All Star Federation (USASF) hands-on training and written testing for the following:
Stunts: USASF up to Level 5
Tumbling: USASF up to Level 5
Tosses: USASF up to Level 5
Shelley Miller - Senior Team Coach
Shelley has been consulting for the Jags dating back to the days of the North Warren Junior Jags. This year we are thrilled to have her join us as a Coach of the Senior 3 team.
Shelley is a graduate and former cheerleader from Kutztown University. She has been a head instructor for Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) since April 1999. She is a member of the UCA Curriculum Task Force and is a safety certifier for the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors (AACCA). Shelley is also CPR Certified.
In addition Shelley has completed United States All Star Federation (USASF) hands-on training and written testing for the following:
Stunts: USASF up to Level 5
Tumbling: USASF up to Level 5
Tosses: USASF up to Level 5
Samantha Blais - Senior Team Coach
Samantha is in her second year with the North Jersey Jaguar All Stars and is currently assistant coach for the Senior Level 3 Team. Before working with the JAGS, she was a cheerleader in Maine for 6 years and helped coach her local middle school team throughout college. This is the first all-star team she has worked with, and can’t wait for her second season to officially start!??
Samantha is scheduled to be USASF certified through Level 5 in August.
Candice Housel - Senior Team Assistant Coach
Candice is in her third year coaching with the Jags and was a cheerleader for 12 years. Candice cheered with East Stroudsburg and Roxbury High School and was captain of her Roxbury Squad. She also coached Recreational Cheerleading for Roxbury.
Candice is CPR Certified and has completed United States All Star Federation (USASF) hands-on training and written testing for the following:
Stunts: USASF up to Level 3
Tumbling: USASF up to Level 3
Tosses: USASF up to Level 3
Kristen DiBernard - Mini Team Coach
Kristen is in her second year coaching the Mini/Tiny team with the Jags. This will also be her third year cheering with the Jags; starting on the Sr. 2 team, followed by two years on the Sr. 3 team. Kristen did rec cheerleading for 6 years, then started doing competitive cheerleading her freshman year in high school. She also currently cheers for Mt. Olive High School. In addition, Kristen teaches numerous gymnastics classes at Gymnastics, Inc.

Tumbling: USASF up to Level 3

Donna Wien - Gym Owner/Cheer Coach/Tumbling Coach
Donna is in her third year with Jags. She has a broad range of cheerleading and gymnastics experience and says she is very excited to be involved in such a positive and successful program. Her cheerleading experience includes being a former Lenape Valley High School Varsity Cheerleader, a former Lenape Valley Indians JV Coach, and an instructor for numerous cheerleading programs offered through her gym, Gymnastics Inc. Donna also competed as a gymnast for 10 years and is well versed in Dance, Personal Training, and Physical Health. Prior to owning Gymnastics Inc., she owned North Jersey Gymnastics and Dance for 14 years and Feminine Physique Aerobic Studio for 7 years.
Donna is certified as follows:
USAG (United States Gymnastics Federation) and CPR Certified.

Tumbling: USASF up to Level 6

Michele Ravo - Consultant
Michele was a coach for the Jags program from 2004-2007 and also held the position of co-director. She had coached the Senior Level 3 team from 2005-2007 leading them to 5th and 4th place finishes at UCA All Star Nationals respectively. In 2004-2005 she coached the Small Senior Prep Level 4 team. Before joining the Jags, Michele was the Cheerleading Coordinator for Lenape Valley Indians Booster Club, Delegate for the North Jersey Midget Cheerleading Association, Cheerleading Coach for the Lenape Valley Indians Booster Club for Competition and Football Squads, and Coach for Hopatcong Warriors Football Cheerleading Squads. Michele was also a cheerleader from 1978-1982 at Hopatcong High School.
She is certified as a UCA Coach, United States Gymnastics Federation (USAG) Safety Certification, Rutgers Safety, and NYSCA Safety.
