Parents Meeting on August 8, 2009
Dear Pop Warner Parents and Participants,

Hope everyone had a great first week of practice. This is an exciting time for everyone as we prepare for the upcoming season. As discussed in the parents meeting, please remember to let the coaches know if you need to leave while the children are practicing in case of an emergency. And, please remember to pick your children up from the coaches after practice, we cannot release them without a parent/guardian or prior knowledge that they are to walk. We do ask though that you do not walk across the field when picking up or dropping off your children. Only coaches and participants are allowed to be on the field.

During this first week of practice, we have noticed a problem arising. At the end of practice, there is a lot of trash being left in and around the bleachers as well as water bottles on the field. The Orange Airport allows us to use this property for our team and can take away that privilege at any time if the field is not cared for properly. If we all take a little time to clean up our own trash, we will prevent the coaches from having to stay late to clean up. This also applies to the parking area where we have been finding trash thrown as well. Please make sure all trash is put in the trash cans or taken with you.

Also, there is absolutely NO smoking allowed in any of the areas around the field. You may however, smoke in the parking lot away from the children.

Please remember to check out our calender of events on this website. It is full of important dates and information to remember.

Sincerely,

Athol-Mahar Pop Warner Board
