The San Diego 2012's are some of the best players from different high schools throughout San Diego County. The 2012's will be showcased in front of Pro and College scouts all year around. The 2012's have won there first tourney, going 4 and 0 against 18U competition.
San Diego 2012 have won the Arizona Fall Classic, going 7 and 0. Running thier win streak to 11 and 0.
In Championship Bracket Games: Team Batting Average - .420 Pitchers held the opposition to a .160 average and had a 1.45 ERA
Troy Cruz pitched a complete game no hitter in the first championship bracket game. Thomas Eshelman struck out 16 batters in 9 innings (including 1 pool play game) and helped change momentum against Rawlings Elite in the quarter final game(13 - 3). Cody Sheppard shut out Team Anderson in the semi final game(6 - 0). Evan Schreiber came back to pitch 5 scoreless innings in the championship game. Eric Eckley had 7 k’s in a complete game victory in pool play game 3 and Nik Stephenson had 6 k’s in a complete game victory in pool play game 1, caught 2 games on Sunday and then came back to close the championship game. In the quarter final game against Rawlings Elite, all but 1 player had and RBI and that 1 player was walked and got plunked in every at bat. Nick Ruppert was walked 8 times out his 11 total at bats on Sunday.
