•Objective: To provide an opportunity for serious, skilled lacrosse players to develop advanced skills and compete at the highest level competition. Teams this year will play in a minimum of 4 tournaments.
•Registration: Pre-tryout registration and payment is required on-line at www.victorlax.com by March 12th for 2002 born and earlier. Registration is required by April 22nd for 2003 born and later. You MUST register online prior to try-outs this year; walk-up registrations are strongly discouraged.

•Eligibility:
–1st/2nd graders based on the current school year (2012/2013) or born in 2006 and earlier
–3rd/4th graders based on the current school year (2012/2013) or born in 2004 and earlier
–5th/6th graders based on the current school year (2012/2013) or born in 2002 and earlier
•Try-Outs/Teams:
–Grades 5 & 6: Sunday, March 24th, 2:30PM – 4:30PM (2nd choice/rain/snow date) . If second day is needed for further evaluation, we will schedule accordingly.
–Grades 1-4: Sunday, April 28, 10 AM-12 PM at VCS Fields (if needed further evaluations will be Monday, April 29, 6:30-8:00 PM).
–Final team selections will be posted no later than Monday, May 6th at 6:00 PM at www.victorlax.com.
–Teams will be maintained throughout the summer season.
–A selection staff will use try-outs, TSE, & spring performance to evaluate and select teams. Players will be evaluated on overall skill, ability, athleticism and coachability (attitude, sportsmanship, maturity, unselfishness, team play).
–There will potentially be cuts at every grade level…estimated 16-18 players per team. The availability of coaches will determine how many teams we can field. We will consider a U level team depending on interest and number of players that tryout (Similar to last years U10 team). Any player that is cut will be refunded the registration and uniform fees.
–Coaches may maintain set positions for tournament play. Playing time will likely not be equal.
–The above listed tournaments are currently where we expect to place teams. These could change slightly.
•Commitment:
–100% tournament attendance is expected
–Practices will be determined by the travel head coach
–Cost is $230 / child. This fee includes all tournaments above, insurance, fields, new uniforms – shorts & reversible travel pinney. We are changing uniforms for the first time in the past 5 years. Hotel costs, meals, etc… are the player’s responsibility. (No player shall be turned away based on financial hardships- please contact Tony Pezzimenti.)
