Vienna Babe Ruth

The time is now to register for the 2009 Fall Baseball Season. Vienna Babe Ruth will be entering teams to play games with other leagues from District 6 (Falls Church-Annandale, Springfield, Fairfax) and District 7 (McLean-Great Falls, Chantilly, Hendon-Reston). This Babe Ruth Fall Baseball League will consist of the following Divisions:

·                     Transition Division – exclusively for current 12 year olds in Little League

·                     Junior Division – for current 13 and 14 year olds

·                     Senior Division – for current 15-17 year olds.

Note: The final construct of Babe Ruth Fall Baseball will be determined based on league participation and registration numbers.

Games typically begin the weekend after Labor Day and conclude by the end of October. Games are played at various High School and Park Authority fields in Fairfax County and other parts of Northern Virginia. In general, there will be one weekday game and one weekend game.

All players registered by July 1, 2009 are guaranteed to be on a Vienna Babe Ruth Fall Ball roster. Those registering after July 1, 2009 will be placed on team rosters subject to space availability. This target date is necessary to determine the number of Fall teams in support of field allocation requests and game scheduling. The fee structure is as follows:

·                     $150.00 for the first child

·                     $100.00 for the second child

·                     $75.00 for the third and each additional child.

To expedite the registration process, all current Vienna Babe Ruth players should submit their completed Fall Ball registration forms and fees to their current team managers. The managers are responsible for returning the registration materials to the Vienna Babe Ruth Player Agent during the Town Tournament Championship series for compilation. Otherwise, mail the form with payment to:
