Q: Where can we register?
A: Registration is only offered online via our website
Q:How are payments made?
A:Payments can only be made via credit card via a secure server.
Q: Is the online process safe/secure?
A: WSC has contracted with Youth Leagues USA to handle our online registration and database process. The company is used by hundreds of other youth sporting clubs throughout the US, including Inter County Soccer League (our travel league. Youth Leagues uses secure servers to handle financial transactions and under contract will not share information collected with other organizations and or companies for solicitation. This service will also allow WSC to maintain an accurate database that will allow us to communicate to our membership on a timelier basis and other features such as repeat registration ease, uniform sizing and grouping of players and coaches.
Q: What if I do not want to register using the online process?
A: There will be no walk-in registrations this year. The online service selected by WSC is safe, secure, user friendly, and convenient. This process is beneficial to both registrants and WSC. Please feel free to contact the club office with questions or concerns.
Q: How does Travel registration work?
A: It is not a given that all players who played travel last season are automatically on that team the next season. That is why we have open tryouts every year and players must be registered with the club and tryout to be placed on a travel team (club policy). When registering, all players are automatically placed into the intramural database. The intramural program combines some age groups to allow us to have enough players to field a competitive age group. If a player tries out for and makes a travel team, their record in the database is then changed, moving the player from the intramural to the travel list and the correct age group. If they do not make a travel team, they have the option of playing intramural or obtaining a full refund.
Q: How long do the seasons run?
A:
INTRAMURAL:
Spring:
The season will run every Sunday afternoon from 4/04/2009 through 6/07/2009. No practices will be held.
No games are played on Mother's Day 5/10/2009; or Memorial Day weekend 5/24/2009.
Fall Soccer:
Fall season begins 9/12/2009.
Q: At what age can my child begin to play in Warrington Soccer Club?
A: For the spring Intramural program, we begin our programs at U-5. For the Fall, 2009 season a child must be born before 7/31/2005.
Q: Do I have to do anything special if this is my child’s first time registering with Warrington Soccer Club?
A: Yes, if your child is a first time registrant, you will need to bring or mail a copy of your child’s birth certificate or EPYSA player pass to the club office. If you are sending, please also include a print out of your registration page. Please note the confirmation number from online registration on birth certificate or player pass. You can also fax to 215-343-6729 or email to warringtonsoccer@hotmail.com.
Q: My child plays in the travel program. Does he / she still need to register?
A: Yes. FALL ONLY. The club registration process gets you listed in our database and allows us to get the child registered with EPYSA for insurance purposes. The registration fees cover the costs of administering the club. Travel players who make travel teams are assessed an additional fee of approximately $175.00 per player per year which offsets the costs of uniforms, league registration, referees, and training.
