2010 Baseball
The 2010 Baseball season has come to an end. Our seniors will truly be missed, not only in our lineup but in our hearts! - Blake McClard, Grant Walker, Ross Ballard, and Eric Talent. Good luck to these young men in their next step in life.
Bobcats defeated Sycamore in Round One of the distrcit Tournament 1-0. Baseball District Play continues on Monday, May 8th. The Bobcats take on the number one seed, Goodpasture at 4PM. The district now begins a 4 team double elimination tournament. The top two teams will move on.
The Bobcats got two key district wins vs Westmoreland this week. Cody Ledbetter strikes out 18 batters and pitches a PERFECT game! A perfect game in High School baseball is about as rare as winning the lottery or finding a unicorn grazing in your backyard. Per coach Williamson, "he has never seen a Perfect baseball game played on that field or anywhere else for that matter". Without giving anything away on coach, That was a Loooooooong Time ago! Congratulations to Cody, the players and coaching staff!!
