Killeen Rebels Baseball Baseball Information

1. The Killeen Rebels Baseball Club purpose is to provide a quality, competitive baseball program for age’s 8U-18U.  The program is designed to provide area players with quality coaching in a competitive playing environment.  Our vision is to create impact varsity high school baseball players through quality coaching and a competitive schedule which exposes players to college coaches and scouts.

KRB has 3 program seasons:

  • Fall 8U-18U Sep.-Nov. (registration/tryouts Jun.-Aug.)
  • Spring 8U-14U Feb.-May (registration/tryouts Oct.-Nov.)
  • Summer 14U-18U May-Aug. (registration/tryouts Oct.-Apr.)

2. Texas Showcase League premier fall/summer program includes: (15U-18U)

  • Mix of TSL showcases, quality tournaments
    • 6 events

  • Weekly practice at high school fields

  • Two sets of jerseys and a team hat 

  • Supplemental Insurance (Secondary to players policy)

  • Players name and profile provided to college coaches/scouts at showcases (juniors/seniors)

3. High school preparatory spring program, KRB Bandits, includes: (8U-14U)

  • Mix DH and tournaments (September-November) and (March - June)

  • Weekly practice

  • Two sets of jerseys and a team hat
  • Supplemental Insurance (Secondary to players policy)  

4. Playing time:  The KRB program vision is for players to increase their skill through practice and game participation.  Our intent is for players that come to practice, play hard, and act with appropriate sportsmanship should play approximately 50% of the time.  However, coaches manage that time and player positions.  The KRB program is a competitive program with players competing for additional time through performance.  Each coach will further articulate their application of this program goal.  

5. How do I become a member of the Killeen Rebels program? 

  • Complete a prospective player form and submit to KRB

  • Attend a scheduled skills assessment (dates and times liste above)

7. Program cost and fees:

  • KRB is focused on affordable fees linked to actual cost.  Fees vary by age and will be made available should an offer be extended.  The program is non-profit and designed to provide quality baseball opportunities to prepare participants to be impact high school players.
  • Team costs are fixed and parents commit to full fee payment once they accept a playing offer.  Players choosing to leave the program voluntarily will not receive a refund.  Injured players may receive credit towards future seasons.
