The purpose of our new website is to provide our cheerleaders and cheer parents with all of the information you will need throughout the cheer season.  It will contain all the handouts, calendars per squad with their practice times, game schedules and and competition dates that seem to unknowingly get lost.

Booster Meeting - 8/17/2009
Meeting Notes:
 
We are still in need of a President for the Booster Club, Booster club membership must be paid up to have voting privileges. The budget
 for 2009-2010 has been approved for a copy please email the treasurer Deborah Aritt.  Also approved Victory Circle Brick for $200.00.
 
Practices for Varsity and JV will remain Sun, Monday and Thursday, Competition schedule is still being worked out will be updated once received. 
 
**Varsity Comp - Uniforms and Shoes have arrived please contact Coach Tim for any questions regarding uniform.
** Tryouts for JV will be sometime in mid September.
***Pictures for the program will be Wednesday 8/19/09 @ 1:50pm ( girls should wear there fall sport uniform)

Coach Updates-  There will be a Chemical Prevention meeting on 10/01/09 for Parents and Cheerleaders
                                 JV tryouts Sept 27th and 28th 7-9pm

Eastview Cheer Booster Club 2009-10 brick has been added to the Victory Circle , cost $200 and $75 goes back to the club.
 
Fundraiser sign-up still available required: Comp Parents 3 fundraisers + TC open

Competiton Poster will be taken by MN cheer Pix  date: TBA, girls will be selecting slogan

Upcoming Fundraiser : Homecoming Tent chair Erica Thornsberry, volunteers Biddi Isaacs, Cindy Archer Burton, Jluie Eddy and Jeanne Swanson.

Booster Meeting 10/13/2009
Meeting Notes: will be using schools sound system for TC open, varsity has routine for competition, need help for TC open. DelaSalle competition Cancelled , adding Northern Elite Competition @ Concordia College Dec 12th, still trying to get new skirts for varsity comp uniform, All parents required to participate in TC open on Sun Nov. 15th, Cost sheet for JV uniform will be sent out for Coach Katie, Coaches will be scheduling JV comp pictures date (TBA).

Coaches Updates
JV will be performing @ two competition this weekend Northern Elite Arctic Challenge 12/12/09 at 1:32pm and Apple Valley HS  12/13/2009 times TBA by Coach Sarah
 
Varsity will also be at both competitions : Arctic challenge performing at 2:08pm , varsity has added some difficulty to their routine, 360's
 The coach has added practices on Sat 12/19, 12/21, 12/28 and 12/31 any question should be directed to Coach Tim, the next competition will be at the U OF M  on 12/20/2009.
 
 
Congratulations to Katie Andrus, Ally Wenzel, Libby Aritt and Lauren Eddy these four ladies have been selected to represent Eastview HS  in the All -Conference Competition, they will be judged on cheers, motions, dance, tumbling runs, and jumps.  Preliminary comp 1/ 6/2010 and Finals will be at Lake Conference 1/9/2010.
 
Per Coach Tim as of now there will not be Basketball Cheer
 
Treasurer's Update
 
Comp posters that were distributed by the girls, need to bring business cards or remaining posters
Spaghetti Dinner we made approximately $1000.00
TC Open we made approximately $6000.00
Booster Club voted to give $1500.00  in scholarships to Eastview Community Foundation ( All Senior Cheerleaders should apply).

Flyers have been distributed to all Elementary , Junior HS that feed into EVHS, and Gleason's. All kids K-8th grade are welcome , the girls have been given flyers to distribute.

Booster Meeting Notes 1/12/2010


Any Parents that still have receipts for a team dinner or cooler that need to be reimbursed please get them to Debbie Aritt the Treasurer  ASAP.  
 
The Kids Clinic was very successful for the amount raised please contact the Treasurer.
 
Both JV and Varsity did well in the Lake Conference Competition at Rosemount.
 
The Competition Squads had pictures on Monday  Jan.11,2010 by Valley Images.
 
Coach Tim has suggested a send off for all the Minnesota Cheer squads to perform for family and friends  before Nationals on Feb.7,2010 details still being decided, more info to come.
 
A tentative date has been set for this years Banquet for all teams Sport and Competition.  March 29th , Venue to be announced.
 
We are still in need of a coordinator for Memory Books, JV and Varsity anyone interested should contact  any Board Member.
 
 ******Nationals Update********
 
 The Board is planning a dinner for Friday  Feb. 12 at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney for the team , Coaches and Parents, any parents that want to participate contact Debbie .  The T-shirts for all Minnesota teams are in the cost is $7.00 for anyone who needs one contact Coach Tim.
