Hardship Discounts
In order to qualify for a hardship discount from our registration fees, we are required to request the following be provided:
A brief letter explaining the situation that causes the need for a discount. *Does not need to be lengthy, but please be specific. Your letter can be given to a Board member, mailed, or emailed.
Proof of ~ Medical Assistance, Food Stamp Assistance, Cash Assistance or other Federal Program involvement OR Proof of participation in the “Free Lunch” Program in your child’s school.

Multiple Players Discount
We recognize the financial hardship placing more then one of your children in a sports program may be on a family. OMYA works hard to keep our registrations as low as possible, as to keep the program affordable for families from all back rounds.
Football & Cheer Registration discounts will be given as follows:
1 player ~ Regular Price
2 players ~ $25.00 off regular price
3 players ~ $50.00 off regular price
4 players ~ $75.00 off regular price
**Discounts can only be used for participants who reside in the same home. Proof of residence will be required to be eligible for multi-player discounts. Acceptable proof would be; Copy of Report Cards or Interim, a community pool pass, mail (magazine subscriptions), etc.

EQUIPMENT DEPOSITS
For the 2008 Football Season, it will be OMYA's policy to request all players give a $250.00 Equipment Deposit check to be dated September 1, 2008. This check will be HELD and only cashed in the event that your child does not return all OMYA Equipment (shoulder pads, helmet including chin strap and face mask, game pants, and practice pants.
If your child quits the team before the end of the season (defined as the last game of the players Team), you will have TWO WEEKS to turn in all OMYA Equipment. If, after two weeks, our equipment has not been returned **OMYA will cash your Equipment Deposit Check** to recoup our costs.
If you are unable to present a check, and sign our "Promissory Note", you will also have TWO WEEKS to turn in all OMYA Equipment. If, after two weeks, our equipment has not been returned **OMYA will proceed with court filings as outlined in the signed agreement.**

OLD MILL YOUTH ASSOCIATION REFUND POLICY
It is hereby stated that the policy of OMYA will be to only issue registration refunds, if your child sustains a season ending injury in the first two weeks of OMYA’s scheduled practices (which start July 21st for 2008). Following this two week period, coaches will confirm the status of their rosters and identify known or potentially season-ending injuries.
To request a refund under these circumstances, please send your written request, along with a note from your child’s physician confirming the season ending injury , to: OMYA Football, P.O. Box 674 #143, Millersville, MD, 21108, postmarked no later then August 11th or received via e-mail addressed to: omyatreasurer@yahoo.com, no later then August 11, 2008.
The refund will have a $10.00 Administrative Fee deducted off the base Registration Fee.
