Our Piedmont 11YO's Won both the Delaware State Championship & the Upper Perkiomen Tournament. Piedmont went 7-0 during both tournaments outscoring their opponents 69-21. The team now heads to Edison NJ for the 11YO Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship which begins August 4th.
UPDATE-UPDATE...
Our 11 Year old State Championship team concluded the summer season at The Mid Atlantic Regionals in Edison NJ. The Regional Championship consisted of 10 teams from the Mid Atlantic Region. Piedmont was eliminated in the semi-finals by Bronx NY. Piedmont jumped to a 3-0 lead after one inning, however Piedmont could not contain the explosive bats from the Bronx falling 12-4. Bronx won the Championship game 16-1 over the PA champs. Congrats again to our Piedmont team on their 3rd consecutive State Championship & an an awesome showing at Regionals!!

Piedmont 10YO's Win Upper Perkiomen Tournament
Congratulations to the Piedmont 10YO tournament team for winning the Upper Perkiomen, PA 10YO Tournament (7/1-7/2) with a 4-0 record. Piedmont defeated Towamencin, Soudertown, and Delco Lightning (from Newtown-Edgemont) to reach the Championship game. Piedmont then defeated Delco Lightning again, 10-1, to win the championship.
