Coach
Teaching age appropriate soccer skills, sportsmanship, etc. The club provides training for coaches with limited soccer experience or who desire to expand their coaching skills.
Assistant Coach:
Assists the coach with practices, player development, team rotation, etc.
Fields:
A team of folks that are responsible for setting up fields at the beginning of the season, lining the fields prior to games, picking up trash, and other field related maintenance. Generally, fields volunteers are asked to volunteer their time 2 or 3 times per season.
Referee
On field supervision of games for all intramural age groups. Most volunteer referees, depending on the age group, will work 1/2 or one full game per weekend. Linesmen work the touch-line (2 per game). If volunteer numbers allow, a "two-man" ref system will be utilized for the older age groups. The club provides referee clinics, shirts and whistles. There is no requirement to be certified to referee the intramural program. Teen (14 & older) referees are paid by the club for their services.
Referee Coordinator
Make phone calls to volunteer referees prior and during the season, communicating general information regarding clinics, meetings and the season.
Age Coordinator
The point person between the Intramural coordinator and the coaches. Duties include recruiting coaches from within the age group, communicating all club information to coaches, distribution of uniforms, picture information, etc and collection of same at year end
Public Relations
This committee includes all of the public relations activities of the club such as the newsletter, website, club store, picture day, sponsor development, data base management, making phone calls, etc.
Board of Directors
Responsible for setting direction for the soccer club. The BOD meets at least once every month throughout the year. Board members are elected for a 2-year term every spring at the Annual General Meeting.
