LOL Alumni Honored in West Bend

The West Bend Baseball Association inducted its Diamond of Honor Wall of Fame Class of 2012 on February 9. Included in the class are notable LOL alumni, starting with former Northern Division commissioner Jake Oehlafen, who served for 40 years. Oelhafen, along with fellow inductees Bill Albrecht, Don Gumm and Mitch Knox are all members of the LOL Hall of Fame. Joining them was Greg Wilcox.

Roger Behling - 2010 LOL League Meritorious Award Recipient

- Playing career began in 1959 when father Leroy (Kid) was Cedarburg Mercs manager, winning four division titles
- Began 29 career as Mercs manager in 1970. Highlights include LOL grand championships in 1997 and 2008
- City of Cedarburg named baseball field at Cedar Creek Park after Behling family in 2000
- Mercs managed by a 'Behling' for over 50 years
- Current Mercs general manager
- Father Leroy inducted into LOL hall of fame in 1983

Jim Dibb - 2010 LOL President's Award Recipient

- 13 year career as shortstop for Merton Amvets
- Lifetime batting average over .330
- Managed Hartland Little League baseball team for 24 years
- Inaugural organizer and committee member of the LOL Old Timers Association Golf Outing
- Six sons and grandsons played LOL baseball, including Chad Dibb, current Hartland manager

- 4-time All Star and SW MVP and Batting Champion (.485) in 1985
- Rome's MVP in 1993
