Very Important Information 

Please read before looking at the schedule!

1. ALL Teams must check in at the University of West Florida! No Exceptions!

2. ALL Players and Coaches must be present at Team Check In! No Exceptions!

3. ALL Players must have copies of the birth certificates and report cards that corresponds to the grade you are playing in! No Exceptions!

4. YOU are responsible to check the schedule. I can tell you right now there are probably going to be changes. When there are changes, we post the time and date of the changes! No Exceptions!

5. If you have spoke with me prior to today about a specific schedule request and I didn't not fill that request, you may text me and I will make the change! Otherwise there isn't much we can do, we have over 125 teams. Your times may not be exactly what you want but this is not a normal tournament!

6. Bad behavior will not be tolerated! Cursing at officials, spectators on the court, or at the scorers table will result in, you, as a coach, spectator or player being removed from the tournament! With no refund! There will be a zero tolerance policy on bad behavior! We are all here to have a great time , enjoy basketball and set good examples!

Coaches,

If you have any schedule request, they need to be made by Tuesday evening, via text! Once the schedule is released, we will not be able to meet any request.

PLEASE SIGN UP FOR " FOLLOW MY TEAM" on Tournament Central,once the schedule is posted. 

Please be aware that even when the schedule does come out that changes are possible. You are responsible to check the web site for the latest updates. Also we would like you to keep in mind that this is the largest tournament ever along the Gulf Coast. We may not be able to accommodate all schedule request(no guarantees), and games may be spaced out further than normal. Also, because of the size of the tournament, if you do not play a Friday game, you will  be expected to start play first thing Saturday unless specified otherwise by the tournament director!

ALL PLAYERS AND ALL COACHES MUST BE PRESENT AT CHECK IN!!

Team Check In

ALL TEAMS MUST CHECK IN WITH ALL PLAYERS AND ALL COACHES! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Team Check in is at least 1 hr prior to first game

If you fail to check in at least 1 hr prior to your first game, your first game may be forfeited!

 Check In-  You will need your ALL your players information(Birth Certificates, Report cards, or YBOA/AAU players registration), you will also need to turn in a Roster Form if you have not already done so. If a player is not on your roster form, he/she will not be eligible to participate in the Rock The Court tournament. Once we have checked your all of your players information and you have turned in your roster form and payment is received. You will receive your coaches passes and ready for play. Last note on check in, even after we check your team in, you must carry all paper work on your players at all times of the tournament in case we must check a player again. Failure to do so, could result in forfeit(s) or disqualification from the tournament. There are NO exceptions!

Game Times -If your team plays the first game on the day at any of the gyms, DO NOT SHOW UP MORE THAN 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR GAME! The gyms will not be open. Our games rarely run behind, you are responsible to be ready to play 30 minutes before your schedule game time!!

 Player Eligibility- A player must be in the grade he/she is participating in, unless that player has a wavier form from AAU/YBOA stating he/she is eligible to play down. Age is as follows for grades;3rd/9u 4th/10u   5th/11u  6th/12u   7th/13u  8th/14u    9th /15u    10th/16u    11th/17u. Players may be one year older and in the correct grade, but must not trun two years older before Sept.1st. ( Example- 4th grade/10u, A player may be 11 years old in the 4th grade, but must not turn 12 before Sept 1st)

Conduct- Do not approach the scorers table and confront the clock keeper or book keeper. You

will face immediate disqualification for failure to follow this rule! If you have an issue with the clock

or books, bring it to the officials attention and they will handle it. If you have any further problems,

you may bring it to my attention. If you have a legitimate issue with any of the officials, please bring

it to my attention immediately and I will take care of it!  The one thing I can not help you with is "calls"!

Rules

High school rules except the following:

Clock:

3rd-8th grade & 8th/9th girls - 14 minute halves ( Could change to 16 min)

9th/10th/11th grade boys and girls 16 minute halves

(Coaches, at any time if we fall behind of the schedule, we may adjust the clock rules)

Clock will stop only on shooting fouls (when the shooting foul is announced by the officials),  time outs and the last TWO minutes of each half. Each team will get 5 time outs per GAME (no carry over’s). Overtime will be 2 minutes, with clock stopping the last minute. Each team will be giving an additional time out in over time. Clock will not stop at all, if a team has a 25 point or greater lead!!!!!

Tie Breakers: If teams are tied after pool play or round robin play.

1st tie breaker is head to head play, 2nd is point differential( if three or more teams are tied with the same record or teams have not played head to head. Maximum of 15 points per game), 3rd is defensive points, 4th is offensive points, 5th is a coin flip.

Game Ball: 6th grade and under boys will use a 28.5 ball. 7th Grade and up will use a 29.5 ball

Home Teams (are listed first) WILL be responsible to keep the Official Book!!!!

No Press Rule applies if a team has a 20 point lead. First time is a warning, second is a technical.( All ages except for High School)
