Since fabric is quite expensive, the Quilt Club can not afford to meet without the donation of fabric, sewing machines, and supplies from the public. Most of the donations are from ladies who no longer sew or their families.
The Quilt Club, in essence, is a "green" organization that transforms unwanted fabrics into beautiful and warm quilts that are then donated back to the community.
Anyone wishing to make a fabric donation, or to join the Quilt Club, please call the Recreation Division @ 201-858-6129.
