Dear Pop Warner Family:
October is slowly creeping upon us and that means the election for our 2010 Board of Directors is around the corner. We will be holding our annual election at the October 11, 2009 home game, which is also our annual Parent and Family Appreciation Day.
This election format proved to be extremely successful last year due to its simplicity and ability of enabling our families to "cast" their VERY IMPORTANT VOTE.
Some BASIC, but not exclusive, expectations that the Board Member should be able to fulfill are: * Attendance at year-round monthly meetings. * Chair (when needed) and serve on a committee * Work all Games in the Concession stand and serve "Clean-Up" duty at least 2 home games.
While all are ALWAYS encouraged to attend our monthly meetings, serving on the Board allows you an "insiders" view and a deciding voice on the overall continuation and success of our program. It is an especially great opportunity for some "new and upcoming" families to ensure the continuation of our program for their children.
The attached form outlines the information needed to have your name and profile added to the ballot. This must be returned via an e-mail no later than Monday, October 5, 2009 in order to have it added to our ballot which will be available at the game on October 11.
