Hilliard Flag Football League
The Northwest Football League founded and sponsored by the Hilliard Optimist Club has been serving the Community of Hilliard for over 50 years.
We are offering a Spring Flag Football League for the first time in 2010. It is open to everyone ages 5 thru Adult. The fee will be $65. There will be two games a week for 4 weeks, eight games of regular season play. The 5th week will be playoffs (you will play at least 2 games in the final week)and Championship games.
Divisions for the HFL will be 5yr through Adults.
Initial Breakdown of Divisions will be(All Co-Ed):
5yrs old as of March 1st 2010
6yrs old as of March 1st 2010
7yrs old as of March 1st 2010
8yrs old as of March 1st 2010
9yrs old as of March 1st 2010
10yrs old as of March 1st 2010
11yrs old) as of March 1st 2010
12yrs old as of March 1st 2010
Pending total number of sign ups per age group, we may combine age groups to get sufficent number of teams. However, we will not combine age groups of more than a two year seperation. (Example: 5,6,and 7 year olds or 8,9,and 10 year olds; NEVER a 5-8 years old or 9-12 years old division)
Middle School Divison = 13yrs old as of March 1st 2010
14yrs old as of March 1st 2010
(12 year olds in 6th grade will be allowed to play in Middle School Division.)
High School Division = 15yrs old thru 18yrs old as of March 1st 2010
(14 year olds in 9th grade will be allowed to play in High School Division)
Adult Division = 19yrs old and older as of March 1st 2010
(18 year olds that have graduated will be allowed to play in the Adult Division)
Middle School, High School, and Adult Divisions will be allowed to sign up as an individual in a blind draft or as a complete team of 7 members. Each Team will receive a Team Jersey and (1) mouth piece from the League.
All games will have Officials cerified by the League (no parents or coaches will be officiating games that would have their own children participating and/or immediate family).
Sign Ups will be February 1st through February 28th, 2010. Keep watching for more info..........
