Post Season Play
Mitey Mite Paul Rankin Bowl Mitey Mites fell to the Jupiter Black Mustangs under the lights, but overall, it was a spectacular night for all of the boys. The Mitey Mites finished the 2009 season with an overall 6-3 record. Great Job to our Mitey Mites and we look forward to seeing them all on the field in 2010!
Jr. Pee Wees. Jr. Pee Wees fall to the Lake Worth Warriors in the first round of the playoffs. In a battle that went right down to the final gun, our boys fought hard and tough. We are very proud of the outstanding season turned in by all players on the team and look forward to seeing them all on the field in 2010!
Pee Wees Pee Wees captured the Treasure Coast Conference Championship in the 3rd round of the playoffs defeating the previously unbeaten Okeechobee Lil Brahmans of the North Division before falling to the North Port Broncos of the Peace River Conference in the Southeast Regional playoffs. Congratulations on a great season Pee Wees and we look forward to you all returning in 2010!
Jr. Midgets The Rangers Jr. Midgets traveled to Warrior Stadium in Lake Worth Wednesday night to face the No. 1 Seed Palm Beach Garden Gators. The Rangers played one of their best games of the year on both sides of the ball falling just short. A tough loss, but an excellent season for the Junior Midgets. We are all very proud of the excellent season turned in by all players on both sides of the ball and look forward to seeing you all return for the 2010 season!
Regular Season Play
Game 7, Saturday, October 17, 2009. Our Rangers teams went 3-3 for the week as our Tiny Mites, Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees all recorded victories. The Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees clinched play-off spots while the Jr. Midgets are in a win and in situation. The Pee Wees remain undefeated at 7-0 and will ne the No. 1 seed in the play-offs.
Tiny Mites defeat Royal Palm Beach Blue Wildcats 30-12! Behind Colin Flynn’s 3 TDs and Gavin Kernan’s 2-TD, the Rangers dominated the overmatched Wildcats from the opening whistle. The Tiny Mites explosive offensive was due to huge holes opened by their offensive line play of Alec Esper, John Bock, Jet Lica, Hristos Kommatas, Joseph Pozzuoli & Alex Illes. The defense held tough as they had Joseph Pozzouli, Hristos Kommatas, Brandon Palacio, Jet Lica, Aiden Flynn, Brett Leombruno & David Glasgow all recording tackles for a loss. Also excellent were Adrian Kaufman, Justin Powell, Dominic Reyes, Bryan Brooks and Braylan Brooks who all had a good overall game.

Mitey Mites fall to Palm Beach Gardens Orange Gators 25-40. After overpowering it’s first 6 opponents, the Rangers defense came our flat and allowed several long plays while the usually sound kick-off team allowed several long returns including a 65-yard TD return. The offense lead by Drew Monaco, Coby Thomas, Carson Lees and Jamil Makhlouf kept the Rangers in the game until midway thru the 4th quarter when a drive stalled at the Gators 15 yard line and the Gators put the game away with a 85 yard drive. Outstanding performers in the game were Devin Speropoulos, Jose Rodriguez, Joey Mondelli, Eric Diano, Jacob Swad, hristian Rodriquez, Robbie Kirby, Andrew Gregg, Mason Muller, Tyler Heckman, Ocean Parodie and Nick Piedimonte.
The Mitey Mites are now 5-2 on the season.
Jr. Pee Wees improve record to 6-1 as they dominate Royal Palm Beach Blue Wildcats 32-6! Behind the hammering rushing attack of Corey Katz (2 TDs), Matt Montalvo (1 TD), JC Powell (1 TD) and Hunter Bell who rumbled for chunks of yards at a time, the Rangers were not to be stopped. Bell also added a rushing PAT. Most of the tough rushing yards can be attrinbuted to the great blocking of Luke Reidy, Isaiah Reyes, Ryan Barash, Logan Good and Hunter Gregg. On the defensive side, Ian Jacobs added a spectacular 50 yard Pick-6 INT. Zach Thomas, Alex Bueno, Nick Longley, Chris Falcone, Chris Stephans, Connor Monaco, John Grimaldi, Troy Vita and Brandon Brooks were all excellent on defense. Dominick Weornick added a blocked field goal.

Pee Wees improved their record to 7-0 as they defeated Royal Palm Beach Blue Wildcats by a score of 46-12. Offensively, the Rangers simply could not be stopped. Nigel Davis rushed for two touchdowns and had over 100 all purpose yards. QB Brett Israel threw two touchdown passes connecting with Elgin Davis for a 34 yard touchdown and brother Blake Israel for a 42 yard scoring strike. Christian Bingo blasted over from ten yards out for the final offensive touchdown. The offensive line of Sean Walker, Jacques Laforge, Raymond Menendez, Alex Storm, and Sawyer Morgan continually opened up massive holes throughout the day. The Rangers Defense was not to be outdone as they added two touchdowns of their own. Christian Bingo intercepted a pass and returned it 55 yards for his second touchdown of the day. Elgin Davis picked up a fumble a rumbled 27 yards for the final score of the day. Nicolas Borodiak and Julian Aguasto each kicked PAT conversions.
The Pee Wees are now a perfect 7-0.

Game 6, Saturday, October 10, 2009. Our Rangers teams went 2-4 for the week as our Tiny Mites and Jr. Pee Wees suffered their first losses of the season. The Mitey cruised to a 32-0 victory while the Pee Wees were granted victory via forfeit as their opponent could not field a 16-man roster. Both the Jr. Midgets and Midgets dropped road games. The Pee Wees remain undefeated at 6-0. Our Jr. Pee Wees, Pee Wees and Jr. Midgets are all battling for play-off spots as we enter the last two weeks of the regular season.
Tiny Mites fall to the West Palm Beach Blue Patriots 0-18! With 4 players out due to illness, the depleted Tiny mites battled but came up short. Outstanding on defense were Gavin Kernan, Alec Esper, Brandon, Palacio, Justin Powell, Hristos Kommates, Aiden Flynn, Colin Flynn, David Glasgow, Jet Lica, Dominic Reyes and Brett Leombruno.
The Tiny Mites are 5-1 on the season.
Mitey Mites Cruise to 32-0 Victory over the Palm Beach Shamrocks! The Rangers were overpowering from the opening kick-off. RB Coby Thomas scored on runs of 55 yards, 25 yards and 15 yards. Mason Muller split the uprights on his first kicked PAT attempt of the season and Drew Monaco took the ball in from the 8 yard line on a perfectly executed quarterback sneak to get his first touchdown since taking over as the starting QB. Jamil Makhlouf closed out the scoring when he returned an interception 25 yards for a touchdown---his second pick-six in the last two games. Carson Lees added 55 tough rushing yards while Devon Speropulos ran around the end for 30 yards late in the fourth quarter. Leading the way up front were Tommy Champa, Bryce Nabridge, Max Fink and Nico Martin on the offensive line. Outstanding on defense was Eric Diano, Carl Landa and Jose Rodriguez (recovered fumble). Logan Shooster dominated the defensive line of scrimmage disrupting the Shamrock backfield all afternoon long and also added a recovered onside kick. It was a great all-around performance by the entire Mitey Mite team.

Jr. Pee Wees fall to the Jupiter Maroon Mustangs 0-8! In a match-up of two undefeated teams, the game lived up to it’s billing as both teams came to play. The game was dominated by the defenses as the Mustang’s sole score in the fourth quarter proved to be enough.

Jr. Midgets fall short in 6-12 loss to the Jupiter Maroon Mustangs! The Rangers squared off against the Jupiter Maroon Mustangs on their home field in Jupiter Saturday evening. It was a hard fought battle between two second place teams. Both teams faced tough defenses when they had the ball with positive yards hard to come by. With the score tied at 6 – 6, it was the Mustangs who capitalized on a Rangers fumble late in the game to take a 12 – 6 lead. The Rangers final drive ended with an interception in the end zone with less than one minute left in the game. Standouts for the Rangers were Karl Roc (49 rushing yards including 4 yard TD run, 11 receiving yards, 4 tackles), Jake Miednik (58 rushing yards, 19 return yards, 4 receptions for 43 yards, 9 tackles), Alec Cumella (30 rushing yards, 9 tackles), Robby Stefans (79 passing yards, 15 rushing yards), David Stanzione (3 receptions for 25 yards), Jordan Silcox (4 tackles), Bryce Thomas (3 tackles), Kyle Leombruno (fumble recovery), Camilo Bermudez (outstanding defensive line play, 8 tackles) Logan Halprin (2 tackles), Alec Leon (3 tackles), Ronak Data (3 tackles), Josh Grossman (4 tackles).

Game 5, October 03, 2009 Our Rangers teams went 5-1 for the week. The Mitey Mites bounced back with a stunning 24-0 route to improve their record to 4-1 while the Tiny Mites, Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees remain undefeated at 5-0. Our Pee Wees once again dominated on the defensive side of the ball recording their 5th shut-out in as many outings. The Jr. Midgets dominated returning a kick-off for a touchdown with 30 seconds to go in the first half and taking two second half interceptions back for touchdowns to improve to 4-1. The Midgets battled from beginning to end while continuing to improve on both sides of the ball. Great Job Boys!
Tiny Mites Defeat Royal Palm Beach Blue Wildcats 24-6! Colin Flynn (2 TDs), Gavin Kernan (TD) and Adrian Kaufman (TD) ran wild behind great offensive line play by John Bock, Alex Illes, Joseph Pozzuoli, Jake Broffman and Braylan Brooks. The defense once again held their opponent to only six points anchored by Brandon Palacio (1 sack, 3 tackles), Jaden Alexis (2 tackles), Justin Powel (2 tackles), Alec Esper (1 sack) and Brett Leombruno (2 tackles). This was truly a team effort.
The Tiny Mites remain perfect at 5-0.
Mitey Mites Bounce Back with a Dominating 24-0 Route of Palm Beach Gardens White Gators! Following a scoreless first half dominated by officials flags, the Rangers took control of the game from the opening whistle of the second half. After a successful onside kick recovered by Spencer Dubay, the Rangers drove 50 yards in 10-plays capped by a 2-yard Carson Lees plunge to take an 8-0 lead. The ensuing kick-off was once again, a well executed onside kick that was recovered by Logan Shooster. The Rangers again drove 50 yards in another strong 11-play drive ending with Coby Thomas’ 6-yard off tackle run and before the Gators even saw the ball on offense, they were looking up at a 16-0 Rangers lead.Midway through the 4th quarter and the Gators driving, Jamil Makhlouf stepped in front of a Gator receiver at the Rangers’ 10 yard line and sprinted 90 yards to the endzone for a pick-six touchdown. Dante Moore was 3 for 3 on kicked PATs to close out the scoring. Behind the excellent offensive line play of Christen Rodriguez, Robbie Kirby, Joey Mondelli, Mason Muller, Ocean Parodie and Tyler Heckman, Carson Lees rumbled for 60 tough yards through the middle of the Gator defense while Dante Moore added 65 rushing yards and Coby Thomas ran for 50 yards. Laith Zayed, Thomas Christensen, Jacob Swad, Nick Piedimonte and Andrew Gregg were tough on defense all afternoon.

Jr. Pee Wees Remain Undefeated with 18-6 Win Over Palm Beach Gardens White Gators! In a tough game from the opening whistle, the Pee Wees took control late in the second half to secure victory. With a strong rushing attack lead up front by offensive linemen Alex Bueno and Rayn Barash, running backs Cameron Krzemski (60 yard TD run), Hunter Bell (15 Yard TD run) and Matt Montalvo (2 yard TD run) found pay-dirt. The defense was outstanding lead by Chris Falcone, Zach Cauffman, Will Leombruno and Ian Jacobs. Equally tough were John Grimaldi and Brandon Brooks recording 3 tackles each.

Pee Wees defeat Palm Beach Gardens White Gators 28-0 to record their 5th shutout in as many games! The Pee Wees moved to 5-0 remaining un-scored upon. QB Brett Israel hooked up with Christian Bingo on a 55 yard completion on the first play of the game. Two plays later Bingo blasted over from the three yard line, giving the Rangers an 8-0 lead. After Nigel Davis recovered a fumble inside Gator territory, Israel connected on a 39 yard scoring strike with Elgin Davis. With a little over three minutes remaining in the first half, Israel ran 32 yards for a touchdown giving the Rangers a 22-0 halftime lead. Brett Israel threw a 19 yard touchdown pass to brother, Blake Israel, early in the third quarter to close out the scoring. John Campbell and Alex Storm provided excellent blocking throughout the day. Fullback Dimani Phillips benefited from the great blocking as he ran for 45 yards. RB Nigel Davis rumbled for over 100 yards. Defensively, middle linebacker Sawyer Morgan was relentless. OLB Nigel Davis was all over the field, and DE A.J. Ferraro made several tackles that resulted in loss of yardage. Chris Perry and Christian Bingo provided excellent run support.

Jr. Midgets Dominate in 36-19 Win Over Riviera Beach Chargers! The Rangers faced a very tough and talented Riviera Beach Chargers team on their Coral Springs High School home field Saturday evening. A balanced offensive attack lead by Quarterback Robby Stefans, Running Backs Jake Miednik, Karl Roc, and Alec Cumella, and Tight Ends David Stanzione and Andres Lopez produced 14 points. The Special Teams added another 6 points on a dazzling 70 yard kickoff return by Jake Miednik with 30 seconds to go in the first half. In the 3rd quarter, the Rangers Defense added an additional 16 points when Alec Cumella and Andres Lopez both returned interceptions for touchdowns. Jake Miednik (61 rushing yards, 4 yard TD run, 124 return yards, 4 tackles), Alec Cumella (33 rushing yards, 3 yard TD run, 15 yard INT return for TD), Robby Stefans (96 passing yards), David Stanzione (3 receptions for 76 yards), Jordan Silcox (3 tackles), Zack Good, Raynard Gordon, Bryce Thomas, Austin Goldberg (outstanding offensive line play), Karl Roc (31 rushing yards, 11 receiving yards, 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 fumble recovery), James McCourt (outstanding special teams play – 3 kicked PAT’s), Kyle Leombruno (2 tackles), Camilo Bermudez (outstanding defensive line play, 3 tackles) Logan Halprin (outstanding defensive play, 2 tackles, INT, blocked PAT), Alec Leon (outstanding defensive secondary play, 3 tackles), Andres Lopez (Game MVP for outstanding all around play, 2 receptions for 19 yards, 2 tackles, 2 pass defenses, 2 INTs including 52 yard return for TD).

Game 4, September 26, 2009 The Rangers teams went 4-2 for the week. The Mitey Mites dropped their first game of the season falling to 3-1 while the Tiny Mites, Jr. Pee Wees and Pee Wees remain undefeated at 4-0. The Jr. Midgets rebounded with a tough win to advance to 3-1 on the season. Although the Midgets lost, they continue to improve. Way to go boys!
Tiny Mites Defeat Lake Worth Warriors 24-0! Leading the way up front in the trenches, offensive linemen Alec Esper, Braylan Brooks, John Bock & Alex Illes opened huge holes allowing the offense to score touchdowns on 4 out of their five possessions. Gavin Kernan rumbled for a 35 yard TD, Colin Flynn notched 3 touchdowns on the afternoon, two on the ground with runs of 30 yards and 25 yards and one while on the receiving end of Hristos Kommatas’ 30 yard TD pass. The steel curtain defense recorded another scoreless game while not allowing a single 1st down. The defense was lead by Jake Brofman who recorded two quarterback sacks and Joe Joe Pozzuoli who added another. Also outstanding on defense were Brett Leombruno, Brian Brooks, David Glasgow, Brandon Palacio, Dominic Reyes & Justin Powell who played a key role in the team’s victory.
The Tiny Mites remain undefeated at 4-0.
Mitey Mites fall short in 11-14 loss to Lake Worth Warriors! For the 3rd straight week, the Mitey Mites were in a battle right down to the final whistle. Coby Thomas scored on the Ranger’s first possession and Dante Moore added the kicked PAT to give their team an 8-6 lead in the first quarter. Late in the second quarter trailing 8-14, Dante Moore added a 25 yard field goal with 2 seconds remaining in the half to bring the Rangers to within 3 at 11-14. The second half became a defensive struggle and neither team was able to put additional points on the board. The loss was the first for the Mitey Mites this season. Drew Monaco, filling in for the injured QB Dante Moore in the second half, played very well. Tough in the trenches were offensive Tight End, Eric Landa and Tommy Champa at Center. Eric also had a fumble recovery on defensive side. Kanon Good was outstanding on defense at the corner notching 6 tackles. Kanon did not allow the Warriors to get outside all afternoon. Bobby Bolling had 3 tackles for loss and was key in keeping the game within reach in the second half. Logan Shooster added a fumble recovery late in the game to keep the Rangers alive.

Jr. Pee Wees Defeat Lake Worth Warriors 19-0! The Jr. Pee Wees continue to dominate notching their 3rd straight shut-out of the season. Corey Katz scores twice, once on the ground and once on the receiving end of JC Powell’s second Touchdown pass of the season. Matt Montalvo rumbled for 105 yards on the ground. The highlight of the afternoon was Cameron Krezemski’s 45 yard TD run off a fake punt. Excellent blocking up front by Ryan Barash and Hunter Gregg allowed Hunter Bell to grunt out 50 yards through the middle keeping the Warrior’s defense honest. Anthony Gomez was outstanding on defense with 2 QB sacks while Danny Cressitelli with 1 sack, Nick Caputo with an INT, John Grimaldi with 2 key tackles and Brandon Kaminer with great corner defense were instrumental in the defense’s ability to shut down the Warrior’s offense. Zach Thomas, the defensive Dominator and Luke Reidy, the Silverback were outstanding in preserving the shut-out. Like notched a QB sack and provided total disruption to the Warrior’s offense all afternoon.

Jr. Midgets stage last minute comeback to defeat the Lake Worth Warriors 16-13! Trailing 8-13 late in the fourth quarter, the Junior Midgets staged an 11-play 60-yard scoring drive on the Lake Worth Warrior’s home field. Robby Stefans successfully orchestrated the final drive which started at the Rangers 40 yard line with less than 4 minutes remaining in the game. Jake Miednik saved his best for last. Running behind a tired but determined offensive line, Jake ran for 40 of his 87 total yards on 8 carries moving the ball to the Warrior’s 20 yard line. Robby Stefans then connected with Jake for what proved to be the game winning touchdown on a beautiful 20 yard toss to the end zone with less than a minute remaining on the clock. The Rangers defensive then closed the door to any potential last second heroics by the Warriors with 3 sacks and an excellent pass defensive play by Josh Grossman. Jake Miednik (87 rushing yards, 2 yard rushing TD, 33 receiving yards, 20 yard TD reception), Alec Cumella (18 rushing yards), Robby Stefans (43 passing yards, 10 rushing yards, 20 yard TD pass), Karl Roc (20 rushing yards, 10 receiving yards) were outstanding all game long. On the defensive side, Alec Cumella (4 tackles), Jordan Silcox (4 tackles), Zack Good (3 tackles, 1 sack), Raynard Gordon (2 tackles, 1 sack), Karl Roc (3 tackles), Ronak Data (outstanding defensive line play, 2 tackles, fumble recovery) and Josh Grossman (Defensive standout for outstanding secondary play) kept the Lake Worth offense at bay all afternoon. James McCourt provided excellent special teams play with 2 kicked PAT’s.

Game 3, September 19, 2009 The Rangers teams were impressive once again going 4-2 for the day. 4 of our 6 teams remain undefeated at 3-0. Way to go boys!
Tiny Mites Defeat Riviera Beach Chargers 24-12! Colin Flynn scored two TDs, one one a 50 yard dash. Colin now has 6 TDs on the season. Hristos Kommatas scored his 2nd TD of the year while Gavin Kernan notched his 3rd TD of the year punching it in from 4 yards out. The Tiny Mites scored four rushing touchdowns with only 9 offensive plays in the game; this seems to be a common occurrence as the Tiny Mites are averaging a touchdown on every third play from scrimmage this season. The stingy defense gave up only two scores, it was a team effort as Gavin Kernan, Colin Flynn, Jet Lica & Hristos Kommatas all recorded tackles for a loss.

Mitey Mites Hold Off Riviera Beach Chargers 12-6! Another hard fought game for the Mitey Mites who jumped out to a quick 6-0 lead when Coby Thomas completed a 60 yard drive with a 6 yard TD run. Riviera Beach answered with a TD of their own to tie the score 6-6 at the half. After a long lightning delay, the two teams took the field. On the second play from scrimmage, QB Dante Moore sprinted 55 yards around the right side on a bootleg to give the Rangers their winning touchdown. Carson Lees had 35 tough rushing yards and provided great lead blocking all afternoon. Christen Rodriguez, Bryce Nabridge and Joey Mondelli were tough up front on the offensive line while defensively, Nick Piedimonte and Jamil Makhlouf proved to have what it takes to help keep the Charges out of the endzone in the second half. Spencer Dubay added a recovered fumble.

JC powell had 1 rushing TD and 1 TD pass while playing well in his second start at the quarterback position. Cameron Krezemski was on the receiving end of a 30 yard TD. Corey Katz added a 20 yard TD run while Ian Jacobs added a PAT run to complete the scoring. Paving the way up front were Connor Monaco and Dominick Wernick on the offensive line. On defense, Nick Caputo had 3 amazing tackles, John Grimaldi added 3 key tackles, Brandon Kaminer made 6 tackles, Zach Thomas provided constant pressure in the backfield and brandon kaminer had an interception.

Pee Wees Record 3rd Shut-Out of the Season Defeating the Riviera Beach Chargers 34-0! Not even two lightning delays and a steady rain could keep the Pee Wees from remaining undefeated. The Rangers Jr. Pee Wees remain un-scored-upon for the season. QB Brett Israel threw for over 130 yards and two touchdowns as the Ranger offense was relentless. Christian Bingo hauled in a 55 yard touchdown pass and Elgin Davis was on the scoring end of a 44 yard reception. RB Nigel Davis opened the scoring with a 12 yard touchdown run. FB Kenny Cowley ended the scoring as be blasted over from 8 yards out. The defense pitched a shutout for the third straight week as A.J. Ferraro intercepted a pass and returned it 50 yards for a touchdown. Defensive linemen Lamonte McDougle, Sean Taylor, Shawn Walker (fumble recovery), Chris Perry, and Damani Phillips were outstanding. The linebacking crew of Nigel Davis, Blake Israel and Sawyer Morgan continually tackled Charger ball carriers in the backfield.

Karl Roc had 30 rushing yards while recording 4 tackles on defense. Bryce Thomas, Jordan Silcox, Zack Good, Raynard Gordon, and Austin Goldberg provided strong offensive line play. Defensively, Alec Cumella was excellent recording 5 tackles and 2 sacks. Kyle Leombruno was tough on the defensive line and had a fumble recovery.

Game 2, September 12, 2009 For the second week in a row, the Rangers teams register 3 shut-outs and go 5-1 for the day. 5 of our 6 teams are now 2-0. Way to go boys!
Tiny Mites defeat West Palm Beach Red Patriots 24-6! Jet Lica scored his 2nd rushing TD of the season, Gavin Kernan scored his 1st TD and Colin Flynn scored his 3rd and 4th TDs of the season---one on the ground and one through the air catching the Tiny Mites’ first TD pass throw by halfback Gavin Kernan! Jake Broffman and Joseph Pozzuoli were outstanding on the offensive line opening huge holes all day. Hristos Kommatas notched 6 tackles, 3 resulting in loss of yardage and Brett Leombruno had 4 tackles, 1 for loss of yardage. The Rangers defense surrendered only 2 first downs in the game.

Mitey Mites Hold Off West Palm Beach Patriots 14-6! In a hard fought game and in a torrential down-pour, the Rangers offensive line pushed the Patriots’ defensive line back allowing crucial 3rd and fourth quarter drives. Starting on their own 10 yard line after an interception by Drew Monaco halted a long Patriots drive, with the score tied 6-6 late in the 3rd quarter and the heavy rain reducing the field to a mud-bowl, the Rangers methodically marched 55 yards in 12 plays to regain valuable field position before turning the ball over on downs. The defense held the Patriots at bay giving the Rangers one last chance to claim victory. With 6-minutes to play and the ball on their own 40 yard line, the Rangers marched 30 yards before Coby Thomas broke free off the right side with 90-seconds to play for a 30 yard touchdown run, his second long rushing TD of the game. Dante Moore added the crucial kicked PAT to give the Rangers a much needed 8-point lead. The defense then sealed the deal by holding West Palm Beach to a 4 and out! The offensive line of Tommy Champa (Center), Robbie Kirby, Ocean Parodie, Max Fink, Devin Speropoulos, Bryce Nabridge, Tyler Heckman, Joey Mondelli & Christian Rodriguez (Interior Linemen) and Mason Muller, Jose Rodriguez & Nico Martin (Ends) were outstanding in the very difficult conditions. The offense had no turnovers in the heavy down-pour. The defense, lead by Cornerback Drew Monaco, held the Patriots scoreless after giving up a 2nd quarter touchdown pass. Drew Monaco made several crucial tackles in the 4th quarter. Eric Diano, Thomas Christensen, Jacob Swad, Erik Landa, Carl Landa and Andrew Gregg also provided excellent defensive play. Logan Shooster added a recovered onside kick.

Jr. Pee Wees Defeat West Palm Beach Patriots 6-0! In a very hard fought game, discipline prevails! The game’s only touchdown was scored by Matt Montalvo who also added two critical interceptions from the defensive side of the ball. Hunter Greggs, Troy Vita, Dominick Wernick, Nick Longley and Isaiah Reyes battled tough in the trenches all game long on the offensive side of the ball allowing Hunter Bell and Cory Catz to combine for 150 rushing yards while Luke Reidy, Anthony Gomez, Zach Thomas and Will Leombruno held the Patriots scoreless on the defensive side of the ball. JC Powell notched his first win as starting QB!!

Pee Wees Shut-Out West Palm Beach Patriots 12-0! On offense, RB Nigel Davis ran up 40 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and added 30 receiving yards. RB Damani Philips added 20 yards on the ground including a rushing TD. Outstanding up front were Adam Keiser, Sawyer Morgan and John Campbell on the offensive line. On the defensive side, Christian Bingo had an interception while other defensive standouts include Sawyer Morgan, Blake Israel, Joey Osborne and Elgin Davis.

Jr. Midgets Shut-Out Palm Beach Gardens Orange Gators 33-0! Jake Meidnik had a break out game on the ground with 165 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns and a 65 yard reception for his 3rd TD. QB Robbie Stephans came back to his 2008 form by executing several drives thru the air accumulating 210 passing yards while notching TD passes of 65 and 20 yards. David Stanzione accumulated 108 receiving yards including a 20 yard TD reception and a nice 35 yard reception to set up a TD. Alec Camella found the end zone from 8 yards out to cap off the scoring. Leading the way in the trenches were Bryce Thomas, Jordan Silcox, Zach Good, Raynard Gordon, and Logan Halprin who were all outstanding on the offensive line. The Rangers Defense was stifling’ only giving up 3 first downs all day. Standouts on defense were Karl Roc with 5-tackles and Ronak Data with strong defensive line play forcing a fumble.

Tiny Mites defeat Royal Palm Beach Black Wildcats 24-0! Jet Lica (rushing TD), Hristos Kommatas (rushing TD), Colin Flynn (2 rushing TDs, Jake Broffman, Joe Joe Pozzuoli (outstanding offensive line play), Gavin Kernan, Brett Leombruno, Adrian Kauffman (outstanding defensive play). The Parkland Rangers Tiny Mites are off to a 1-0 start.
Mitey Mites shutout Royal Palm Beach Black Wildcats 26-0! Carson Lees started off the game with a nice 50 yard kick-off return setting up the Rangers first touchdown. With a strong rushing attack lead by Coby Thomas' 3 rushing TDs, Spencer Dubay's 1 rushing TD and Carson Lees grabbing chunks of yardage with each carry, the Rangers jumped out to a big halftime lead. QB Dante Moore added 1 kicked PAT on the offensive side and an interception on the defensive side. Mason Muller, Tyler Heckman and Nicolas Martin were outstanding on the offensive line. On the defensive side of the ball, Drew Monaco, Bobby Bolling, Kanon Good & Laith Zayed helped keep the Wildcats out of the end zone, Thomas Christensen recoved a Wildcats' fumble and Logan Shooster added a 10 yard Punt return. The Parkland Rangers Mitey Mites are off to a 1-0 start.

Pee Wees defeat Royal Palm Beach Black Wildcats 22-0! On offense, QB Brett Israel threw for three touchdowns and 225 yards. Christian Bingo had two TD receptions of 45 and 70 yards and added an interception on the defensive end. Elgin Davis had a touchdown catch of 35 yards. Nigel Davis handled the bulk of the running for the Rangers, as he rumbled for 60 yards. The offensive line of Sawyer Morgan, Raymond Menendez, Sean Taylor, Jacques Laforge, and Alex Storm was outstanding throughout the game. The defense dominated from the opening kick-off. Joey Osborne had an interception and several great tackles. The linebacking crew of Nigel Davis, Sawyer Morgan, and Blake Israel combined for 22 tackles, five resulting in loss of yards. Defensive linemen Lamonte MacDougle and A.J. Ferraro were outstanding. Parkland Rangers Pee Wees are off to a 1-0 start.
