The USOEC freestyle team travels to Gotzis, Austria annually for a international training camp to prepare for European competiton at the Junior World Championships and the World University Championships.
The Wrestling Training Center in Austria is known as Ringsport and has played host to several international teams throughout this decade and this year was no exception. Teams from Spain, Sweden, Germany, and Austria joined the USOEC contingent during the holiday seasons of 2008- 2011.
The costs for this trip vary from year to year depending on the price of room, board, and gas for planes. Expect to spend approximately $1200-$2000 USA dollars. Plane ticket costs range from $1000-$1500 USA dollars. Room and board costs in Austria range from € 15,00 to € 30,00 a day (15-30 Euros per day).
