Rule 1.0 ~ The American Baseball Association

The American Baseball Association was founded on a vision; a vision to bring America’s Pastime in the form of ‘travel tournament baseball’ to every region across the country through premier tournament events. A vision to bring a brand of baseball tournaments every weekend that are both family oriented and just as important, FUN for all the players. All the while being offered at an affordable price.

But most importantly, the American Baseball Association is being built on the vision on ‘doing something positive’ in communities all across the country. Doing something good, bringing enjoyment to young players as they step out on the life classroom that is a baseball field. Bringing enjoyment and happiness to parents and grand-parents as their ball-player walks out on the field and does something well. America loves Baseball, it can’t possibly be played enough.

1.01 ~ Let’s Play Some Ball (How to Start Playing)

No team will be able to participate until there national registration fee for the calendar year has been received. The ABA calendar year runs from January 1st thru December 31st.

Rule 2.0 ~ ABA Divisions of Play

The American Baseball Association is divided into 3 separate divisions of play to allow teams and players to participate at a skill level their individual team is ready for. The three divisions of play within the ABA consist of; the American Division, the National Division, and the Open Division.

2.0A ~ Teams are welcome to participate in any division of play in which their manager sees fit.

Example 2.0B ~ A team is playing in the National Division and every tournament they’re participating in their beating every team they face by the run-rule; in this case the Regional Director of Baseball Operations may step in a have the team play in the higher American Division.

2.01 ~ The American Division The American Division of play is the highest level division within the ABA. American Division teams would be teams of above average skill level; teams in which the majority of players come from a wide range of area and playing travel ball is what the team does.

2.02 ~ The National Division The National Division is for teams that would be considered local teams. Teams whose players came largely from one league or city, or a team that just isn’t at the level of an American Division team yet, but still wishes to be part of an ABA tournament and all the fun that comes along with it!!!

2.03 ~ The Open Division Tournaments could be offered as Open Division Events. In Open Division Tournaments teams of both the American and National Divisions are welcome to attend and compete against one another.
