 Arthur and Irene Lorance

Big supporters of the Centertown Youth League and the Community. They have always been here for the kids and park, watching and helping out in many ways they could. Arthur, was the Mayor of Centertown when the City of Centertown purchase the land for the Centertown Recreational Club to build the ball parks. Every year Arthur would ask what can we do to help the league and park. This award is to an individual takes a lot of time, energy and supports the league and park. Arthur was born February 3, 1909 and die on July 20, 2008 at the age of 99. He was the Mayor of Centertown from 1987 to 2008 and member of the Centertown Recreational Park Board from 2001 to 2008. Irene Gaither Lorance was born August 2, 1921 and die on April 10, 2011 at the age of 89. Irene and Arthur were married for 67 years.
