Rutgers Safety Course
The Florham Park Recreation Department is hosting a Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Clinic for volunteer coaches on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, from 6:30-9:30 pm, at the Florham Park community center. The clinic is required for new coaches who have not previously attended. Registration begins at 6:00 pm. The cost is $40 per person and can be paid at the door (make checks or money orders payable to Florham Park Recreation Department). Coaches should RSVP to the Florham Park Recreation Department at (973) 410-5390 - no later than Monday, May 12, 2014. Space is limited. Heads Up Football Level One Certification
All FP / EH Football coaches are required to complete the Heads Up Football Level One certification each year. If you have a user name from previous years please reuse it, if not please create a new user name and complete the certification by clicking on the link above. The certification will take an estimated 2.5 hours to complete. USA Football requires a list of our coaches which they audit for completion of the certification. If our coaches do not complete the certification, we are in fault of our contract and therefore will lose our Heads Up Football status. Therefore, we have a zero tolerance policy that will stop any coach who has not completed the certification on the field for practice or games. This certification is required to be completed by August 15, 2017. The cost of this certification is paid for by the FP / EH Football Program and you will receive you payment code to use on the website via email once you are chosen as a coach.
