SHOCKERS HISTORY
2004
Jan 2004 - Bellevue Shocker Select Softball program started with one 16U team.
Jun 2004 - 16U team qualified for ASA Regionals our first year.
Sep 2004 - Held a Fall Ball "Camp" for over 50 area girls 8-13 of age.
2005
Jan 2005 - Bellevue Shocker Select Softball program started the season with
1-18U, 2-16U, 1-14U, 2-12U and 1-10U team.
Feb 2005 - Aquired and opened our own dedicated indoor facility, in Bellevue, NE. It is 5000 sq ft, and has two batting cages, two natural dirt/clay pitching mounds and a open area for variousdrills.
Apr 2005 - Did our first organizational Spaghetti Feed fundraiser. A true success!
Jun 2005 - First ever Bellevue 10U team, won Seward, NE Girls Select Fastpitch Tournament.
Jul 2005 - The 18U, 16U Gold and 12U Purple finished second place in Omaha Metro "B" League, which composed of Omaha area Select teams during a 20 game schedule.
Jul 2005 - We had over 200 girls tryout for our select teams. Unfortunatley we couldn't take every player due to space limitations. We will have 1-18U, 3-16U, 3-14U, 3-12U and one 10U team. Ten of our eleven teams will play "A" Metro League during the 2006 season.
Sep 2005 - Started our first Fall League. We have 6 of our teams participating in a 15 game Fall Schedule.
Sep 2005 - Articles of Incorportation filed with the State Of Nebraska and approved.
Oct 2005 - Completed our first Fall League. Completed our Noon-profit status with IRS.
Nov 2005 - Our first Board of Directors Meeting Held.
Dec 2005 - Bellevue Shockers Softball Assocination Inc., 501 (c) (3) status approved by the IRS effective 13 September 2005.
2006
Mar 2006 - Conducted our Spaghetti Feed Fundraiser for the 2006 season. The organization raised over 9000.00 for our scholarship fund and offset the cost for our girls helmets and bat bags. Even with bad weather we doubled the number of tickets sold for this event. We held this event at Muellar Hall.
Apr 2006 - 14U White took Second Place in the Maryville, MO tournament.
Apr 2006 - 12U Gold took Second Place in the Kats tournament in Linda Vista, NE.
May 2006 - 16U Gold took Second Place in the USSSA Qualifying Tournament in Kansas City, MO. Qualified for Nationals in Texas.
June 2006- 16U Gold took 1st Place in the Quakes AFA National Qualifier. Qualified for Nationals in Oklahoma.
June 2006 - 10U - 1st Place in the ASA Gretna Mothers Day Madness Tournament in Gretna, NE.
June 2006 - 16U Gold - 3rd place in the Top of the Rockies Tournament in Dillon, CO
June 2006 - 16U Purple - 4th place in the Top of the Rockies Tournament in Dillon, CO
June 2006 - 14U Gold - 2nd place in the Sliderz Summer Slam Tournament in Olathe, KS
June 2006 - 12U Purple - 2nd place in the Sliderz Summer Slam Tournament in Olathe, KS
June 2006 -12U White - 3rd place in the ASA Carroll, IA Tournament
12U White - 3rd place in Hastings, NE Tournament
June 2006 - 18U - 2nd Place at AFA Qualifying Tournament in Olathe, KS
June 2006 - 14U White - 2nd Place in Metro Omaha ASA Tournament, which qualified them for ASA Nationals in Auroa, CO.
June 2006 - Participated in Bellevue Public Shcools, High School Softball Camp, which was ran by the BWHS and BEHS Coaches. Over 50 girls iattended.
June 2006 - Conducted our semi-annual Board of Directors Meeting at the Shocker Shack.
July 2006 - Conduct our second tryouts. Over 225 girls participated in our tryouts. WE couldn't take every player, but we stayed with 11 teams for the 2007 season, and will have 4-16U teams, 4-14U teams, 2-12U teams and 1-10U team.
Oct 2006 - 16U Black, started our 2007 season off with taking first in USSSA National Qualifier, in Independence, MO. They now qualified to play in the USSSA National Tournament. in July 2007.
Oct 2006 - 16U Black, took its second consecutive National Qualifier Tournament in Shawnee, KS. This win, has USSSA pay for all the entry fees to the USSSA National Tournament, in July 2007.
Nov 2006 - Semi Annual Board of Directors Meeting held at the Shocker Shack.
2007
12U Purple for taking 1st Place in METRO League Play. They went undefeated this year!!!!

14U Grey/14U Purple 3rd and 4th Place Ringneck Softball Tournament, Sioux Falls, SD

14U Grey taking 2nd Place at Lincoln Slug Fest
16U White for taking first place at the USSSA Line Drive National Qualifier, in Shawnee, KS, by going 7-0. 16U White is qualified to play in USSSA Nationals
12U Black for taking 1st Place at ASA tournament in Hastings, NE
12U Purple for taking a 2nd Place at Wahoo Tournament
14U Grey for taking a 3rd Place at Wahoo Tournament
14U Purple for taking 2nd Place at USSSA Tournament, Independence, MO
