Bullett Proof Baseball congratulates 12u player Nick Braun and his  Pelham's Century 21 (Today Realty) Peewee team on capturing the Niagara South Interlock Championship.
Nick plays with the Bullett Proof Allstar 12u travel team as well as playing interlock baseball for Pelham  Minor Baseball.

BULLETT PROOF BASEBALL IS VERY PROUD OF COACH DAVIDSON!
Dave was called up today to the major league Pittsburgh Pirates. The last couple of years have gone by in a flash for Dave, starting at 'A' level Lynchburg he has gone through the Pirates system to the MLB club in less than a year. Everyone here at Bullett Proof Baseball knows all the hard  work Dave has put into his game working out all winter at the clinic. We know he will do well with the big club and all the players are looking forward to having a Major League pitcher working with them this winter. Good luck and congratulations Dave!

12U TEAM GETS THEIR FIRST WIN!

Matthew Guarasci        Michael Dupruis           Trevor Ferri                 Scott Dubois              TylerStewart          Jonah Mondloch           Nick Spillman
In true Bullett Proof Baseball fashion the 12under team fought back from an 8-2 deficit. They beat the Inferno baseball team 14-12 Wednesday night in St. Catharines.
Bullett Proof let Inferno get out to an 8-2 lead before storming back in the 3rd inning with 8 markers sparked by home runs from Nick Spillman and Matthew Guarasci. Scott Dubois and Michael Dupruis were a perfect 3 for 3 with the bat with 2  singles and a double . The whole team did well at the plate as all the bats were alive for the Allstars tonight.
Starter Tyler Stewart pitched 2 innings and fanned 1 giving up 7 runs in the 2nd on some sloppy defense while going 3 for 4 to help the offense. Jonah Mondloch came in and shut down a strong Inferno offence allowing 5 hits over 3 innings while striking out 2. Trevor Ferri earned the save pitching the final 2 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Once the Allstars took the lead the defence tightened up and the boys showed that defence will win games for you.

15's split the weekend with the Tigers
Paul Sommerville took the hill in game one on Saturday against the first
place Ontario Tigers. He threw 6 1/3 solid innings with 6 runs against; 2
earned. Sloppy defense and mental mistakes caused the demise of the boys as
they fell 6-0. Mark Doucette came in relief of Somerville, and faced one
batter, getting him to ground into an inning-ending double play. The
Allstars were able to only get 5 hits, but reached base on 4 walks.
AJ Clark put up another solid effort on Saturday in the second game of the
doubleheader, pushing his record to 2-0. He did not allow an earned run
while recording 2 strikeouts and gave up only two hits. In the bottom of the
7th with the score knotted at 1, Edwin Corona hit a single and was able to
reach second after the Tigers walked pinch hitter Matt Hauer. After a wild
pitch allowed both runners to move up a base, th Tigers elected to
intentionally walk Tony Cirillo. With one out, Ricky Ferri delivered a
clutch RBI single, scoring Corona, up the middle to allow the Allstars to
    win.
On Sunday the boys were supposed to play in Richmond Hill, but games were
    cancelled due to inclement weather.
Next week they start their Boys of Summer League schedule, taking on Niagara
PAL Storm in Model City, NY on Saturday then the York County Cardinals at
home at Burgar Park on Sunday at 1 and 5 pm.
