The Terry Casey Memorial Tournament is considered one of the top midget tournaments in
the Northwest and Canada. This year as in last years Casey Cup teams
will be selected on a first come first serve basis, meaning the first
8 A teams and the first 8 AA teams with their entry fee and
registration will be in the tournament, so get your application in quickly.
For those teams who don't get in the tournament, they will be placed on a waiting list.
The deadline for tournament entry will be Friday February 5th, 2010. We already have received entries from teams so if you want in you need to get your registrations & checks in soon.
TOURNAMENT DATES: Thursday, March 25th, 2010, through Saturday, March 27, 2010
LOCATION: Great Falls, Montana, Great Falls Community Ice Arena
ENTRY FEE: $1,100.00 US Funds (Checks payable to Great Falls Amateur Hockey
Association). This amount includes a $100 performance bond that will
be returned upon the arrival of the team and registration on Thursday,
March 26, 2009. The actual tournament fee is $1,000 US funds.
DEADLINE: Tournament roster and entry fee MUST be received no later
than Friday, February 5th, 2010.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 8 'A' teams and 8 'AA' teams (no round robin;
winner and consolation side bracketing after first round).
3 game guarantee for each team (one each day). Three fifteen minute
stop time periods, ice make every two.
-1st, 2nd and 3rd place plaques for winner's bracket and a plaques for
the consolation winner on both A and AA side.
-AA & A MVP selected by tournament committee; 6 additional
championship all-star awards (two from the first and second place
teams, one each from the third and fourth place finishers selected by
the team's coach).
MEET AND GREET: As has been tradition. There will be a meet and greet
on Wednesday March 24th for those teams that arrive early. This is for
coaches, managers and parents only.
LUNCHEON: FREE Lunch on Friday, March 26, 2010, for all players,
coaches, managers, and fans.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The Heritage Inn will be the tournament headquarters.
A block of rooms has been reserved and booking of rooms is the
responsibility of each team. There will also be rooms booked at the
Crystal Inn which is very close to our new facility. Rates will be
posted on the website once we get them.
