Elkins Athletic Booster Club Board Positions Elected at Booster Annual Meeting Wed., May 11th
Our parent operated Athletic Booster Club is the official support group for the sports programs at Elkins High School. The Athletic Booster Club provides essential financial support for all participating sports programs at Elkins HS. The group’s sole purpose is to raise money and then distribute these funds to our programs. The primary fund raising activity is through the sale of Elkins spirit wear (t-shirts, hats, hoodies, stadium chairs, etc). We have also discussed some great ideas for upcoming fundraising activities.
The group cannot continue to help our student athletes without increased participation in the booster club from YOU the parents. With the financial hardship our district is facing, we will likely turn to our booster club for support now more than ever. In order for the Athletic Booster Club to continue to operate successfully for the upcoming school year, we need to replace a few club officer positions. These positions must be filled at the next monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 11th at 6:30 pm in the EHS Commons.
We need YOU to PLEASE consider filling one of the officer positions. We are requesting and accepting nominations for all 4 positions.
