GU8 (current U7 and younger) GRIZZLIES...BORN UP TO July 31, 2006...If your daughter shows an interest in the game and is not getting taught properly at the intramural level then the GRIZZLIES may be a good opportunity for her. Many times at this age, the more physically developed players are simply asked to "score" goals and are never given the proper foundation of how to play. When they get older, those who have been taught techniques and have an understanding of the game pass them by. Many times the young superstar does not continue playing beyond the age of 12 because their coach simply relied on their athletic ability without teaching them how to play. Our practice sessions (2x per week, 1 hour each) are designed to get the players touches on the ball while beginning to teach them a better understanding of the game. We keep it fun and interesting for them and keep them moving so we do not lose their attention. In addition to their practices, they play in the JSS league with one game per weekend. Younger players may register as well.
PRACTICES ARE HELD EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 5:00pm-6:00pm
GU9 (current U8) FALCONS...BORN between August 1, 2004 and July 31, 2005... the FALCONS are a team designed for those girls who are ready to transition from "intramural" to "pre-travel". We will play teams from other towns with half of our games at our home field and half "away" at our opponents field. We will begin to introduce the children and the parents to a new level in their soccer development as we work on individual skill sets while introducing team defending and possession concepts to the players. We will not focus on "winning" but rather on the development of each individual player. Down the road, winning will come from understanding how to play the game not from having the biggest kick. Since the focus will not be on "winning", the girls are given more responsibility and are encouraged to make mistakes without worrying about the results of the games. This team will practice 2x per week and will play one game per week as well. While practices are not mandatory it is difficult for the girls to succeed when they do not understand what is expected of them during the game. A winter team will be formed from those who wish to continue with the program. EVERYONE who wishes to play will be rostered!

GU10 (current U9) ECLIPSE...BORN between August 1, 2003 and July 31, 2004...the ECLIPSE are a developmental travel team looking to add additonal girls to the roster. We practice 2x per week and play one game per weekend. This is a great team for the girl who just wants to play but who is not technically developed or has started to play only recently and new players are welcome to join. We take the time to work with and teach the girls proper techniques while helping them better understand the game. We do not focus on winning but rather on player development. It is certain that the players on this team will improve from the start of the season to it's conclusion.

GU11 (current U10) DIAMONDS...BORN between August 1, 2002 and July 31, 2003...the DIAMONDS are a high level team looking for a few players who are committed to playing. This team practices 2x per week and will play either NYCSL or LIJSL in the fall 2013 season. In addition we are looking to play in several tournaments throughout the year and practice and play leagues and tournaments during the winter. The girls play a possession style of soccer and our concentration is on passing, moving with and without the ball, foot skills and team defense. We do not focus on "winning" at this stage of their development but would have a much better record with a "full time" goalie.

GU12 (current U11) PANTHERS...BORN between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2002...the PANTHERS are an outstanding collection of girls who play a great possession style of soccer. The girls are taught foot skills, moving with and without the ball, positioning, passing and team defense. The Panthers are 2013 NY CUP Finalists, 2013 LI CUP Semi-Finalists and are currently playing both LIJSL and NYCSL. We play in out of town tournaments and practice and play in several leagues and tournaments during the winter. We are looking to add a couple of players to our roster as we move from 9v9 to the large field. We will be practicing and playing during the summer as we prepare for this transition.

GU12 (current U11) COUGARS...BORN between August 1, 2001 and July 31, 2002...The COUGARS are a great collection of players who are being taught how to play a possession style of soccer. We have integrated several new players with some who have been a part of our program for several years and have a very solid defensive core. The Cougars are 2013 LI CUP FINALISTS and play in the LIJSL. The team is looking to add either experienced or inexperienced players as we move to the large field in the fall. The only thing we require is a willingness and desire to improve so that each player and the team as a whole can do their best.

GU13 (current U12) FORCE...BORN between August 1, 2000 and July 31, 2001...The FORCE are a very competitive team and are 2013 NY CUP Semi-Finalists currently playing both LIJSL and NPL. We play in out of town tournaments and practice and play in several leagues and tournaments during the winter. We play a very nice possession style of soccer and are looking for dedicated players who are looking to improve their individual skills and their understanding of the game. While we do not focus on winning, this is the age where the ability to play the game properly begins to lead to success on the field. With a great foundation of players who have been a part of our program for several years, we are looking to integrate some new girls.

GU14 (current U13) APACHES...BORN between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000...The APACHES are a very competitive team and are 2013 NY CUP Quarter-Finalists currently playing both LIJSL (D2) and NYCSL. We play in out of town tournaments and practice and play in several leagues and tournaments during the winter. This team plays outstanding soccer and is ready to go to another level in their understanding of the game as we begin to develop a more attacking style of possession play. Since we play a particular style we are looking to add a couple of hard working, dedicated athletes to the team now as we begin to prepare for our college showcase years. This team is built around a large core who have played together since U9 and under the direct supervision of our licensed head coach who has over 20 years of youth soccer coaching experience is coached and trained by a former D1 college player.

GU15 (current U14) GALAXY...BORN between August 1, 1998 and July 31, 1999... The GALAXY are an extremely competitive and dedicated team. They are 2013 LI CUP Semi-Finalists and 2013 NY CUP Quarter-Finalists and currently play in LIJSL. We play in out of town tournaments and practice and play in several leagues and tournaments during the winter. This team plays outstanding soccer and is ready to go to another level in their understanding of the game as we begin to develop a more attacking style of possession play. The majority of the roster has played together for many years but we are looking to add a few players to the roster as we begin our college showcase years. We will play in a few college showcases this summer and fall and will have a schedule mapped out for the girls as they prepare to play high school ball. Under the supervision or our licensed head coach who has over 20 years of youth soccer coaching experience this team is coached and trained by a former D1 college player who also plays professionally for the Rough Riders mens team.

BU8 (current U7) GLADIATORS...BORN UP TO July 31, 2006...If your son shows an interest in the game and is not getting taught properly at the intramural level then the GLADIATORS may be a good opportunity for him. BU9 (current U8) FIRE...BORN between August 1, 2004 and July 31, 2005... the FIRE are a team designed for those boys who are ready to transition from "intramural" to "pre-travel". BU10 (current U9) EXPLOSION...BORN between August 1, 2003 and July 31, 2004...the EXPLOSION are a very good travel team looking to add additonal boys to the roster as we look to become an outstanding team in the coming years. We practice 2x per week and play one game per weekend. We play in tournaments and practice and play in several leagues and tournaments during the winter. This team plays outstanding soccer for their age and is built around a core of players who have been a part of our developmental program for the last year. Please note that we will not be focused on winning but rather on teaching the boys the proper techniques, skills and understanding of the game that will be necessary for them to develop into a high level team by the time they are U13.
In addition, if the registrations and interest warrants we will be forming a second team in this age group for those players who have not yet developed their soccer or athletic skills yet. It is important to remember that players this age are still "babies" and learn, grow and develop at different rates physically and it is our responsibility to place these children in a situation where they can succeed. The EXPRESS will be a team for those boys. Players who have only recently started as well as new players are welcome to join. We take the time to work with and teach them proper techniques while helping them better understand the game. It is certain that the players on this team will improve from the start of the season to it's conclusion.

BU11 (current U10) DEMONS...............BORN between August 1, 2002 and July 31, 2003 The DEMONS are a high level team looking for a few players who are committed to playing. This team practices 2x per week and currently plays both LIJSL (S D1) and NYCSL. In addition we play in several tournaments throughout the year and practice and play leagues and tournaments during the winter. The boys are being taught to play a possession style of soccer and our concentration is on passing, moving with and without the ball, foot skills and team defense. They We do not focus on "winning" at this stage of their development but would have a much better record with a "full time" goalie.

BU12 (current U11) CLASH (Dirty Faces)..BORN between Aug 1, 2001 and July 31, 2002...The CLASH are an intermediate level team that just started playing together for the Spring 2013 season. They boys have improved tremendously in that very short period of time. While many of the boys played club ball in the past, they were not given a solid foundation and are now being taught how to properly play the game. We practice 2x per week and play one game per weekend. This is a great team for the boy who wants to play but who is not technically developed or has started to play only recently. New players are welcome to join. We take the time to work with and teach the boys proper techniques while helping them better understand the game. We do not focus on winning but rather on player development. It is certain that the players on this team will improve from the start of the season to it's conclusion.

BU13 (current U12) BLACKHAWKS..........BORN between August 1, 2000 and July 31, 2001 The BLACKHAWKS are a very solid team that has come a very long way over the past 2 years. Currently the team has a good core of players that are beginning to have a great understanding of the fame. They have excellent defensive shape and understand how to play an offside trap very well. We are looking for dedicated, athletic players to join the team and help us make the next step. The Blackhawks currently play LIJSL and have been playing up a year in NYCSL so that they could face bigger, stronger competition to aid their development.

BU14 (current U13) ALLIANCE..........BORN between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2000 The ALLIANCE are a new U14 team that is looking to begin play for the Fall 2013 season. We have been training with this group all season in preparation of starting league play. Many of the boys have played club ball in the past and have a decent understanding of the game. We need a few players to round out the roster and while we have boys who can play the position are looking for a Full Time GOALIE to join the squad.

BU16 (current U15) LIBERTY..........BORN between August 1, 1997 and July 31, 1998 The LIBERTY are looking to add several players to the squad to begin training in the summer to prepare for High School tryouts. We will get the boys ready for the physical fitness that they will be required to pass in order to make their respective teams. Since many of them will be practicing and playing for their school teams during the week we will plan to play LIJSL (1 game per week on Sundays) with light training on Saturdays (so they maintain their familiarity with each other).
