"I love this picture because this is a FAMILY!
We are one BIG family no matter the age,
or how we look, or if we dance or cheer,
or if we are parents or coaches.
This organization has so much love and support.
No matter what place we come in, we are always #1.
I wouldn't want my daughter anywhere else.
Look at the smiles on their faces...PRICELESS!!"

HVA is a great program and has helped both of my girls with their self esteem.  I would never have imagined they would have went out there and performed that routine!  I will never forget how nervous I was for them at their first competition.  I was worried they would cry or wouldn't do it, but I ended up crying for them.  You guys are really AWESOME!!

Karen North-Smith, HotShots Parent

We are the Warfield’s. Our family has been in the HVA family for 2 years and with some of the staff, going on 3 seasons. I’ve always loved HVA and always wanted to write a testimonial, but wasn’t quite sure how to put it in words. Well, at our last competition, it dawned on me what I wanted to write about. Yes, cheerleading and dancing is a sport which teaches many things, and both of our girls LOVE it, but what’s more important is we are not just parents and teammates alone. We are family. We look out for each other both on and off the mat, as well as enjoy “get togethers” outside of the gym. When one of us is missing, it’s noticed and their absence doesn’t go unquestioned. When talking with another parent after our performance, I realized we have awesome squads, of all ages and types, but our athletes know they are awesome because they know they have all of the parents, all of the coaches and all of the sister squads there to back them up, whether it’s a good performance or not. When our family is with HVA at any event, it’s always a great day. It’s very comforting knowing you are with family, especially when sometimes you are with them ALL DAY or even ALL WEEKEND! Notice I did not say “stuck”. Being with HVA is not cumbersome but enjoyable, which is most of all why we enjoy being a part of the High Voltage All Stars gym.

HVA is the place to be! This is my very first year as a cheer parent. I have two daughters who cheer for HVA. It has been a positive experience for all of us. My girls didn't have any tumbling skills at the beginning of the season and they both have come so far. I am so proud of them. All the coaches are awesome! They are all friendly, patient, skilled, caring and very dedicated to the athletes, and parents as well. The scores say it all! HVA is only two years young, and I can't wait to see what they bring to the mat next season. I know that I made the right choice in selecting HVA. I love my new extended family! Prepare to be shocked. I know I am.  Nikki Folsom

Robert--Extreme Danger Special Needs Team

The reason why I’m loving this High Voltage All Stars and the HVA family is cause the people are great and they are very respectful. I love how everybody gets together and helps people out when something doesn’t go right and they are right there to help when we make a mistake. I would like to shout out to our Coach Edgar. He is the best thing we could ever have. I’m glad to have him as our coach cause he makes sure everything is right and he wants us to make our team stronger. He always makes sure that we are right with our positions. I have always wanna to do cheerleading since I was little and even when I was in High School but I never go a chance to do it. Now I have finally made up my mind that this is what I always wanna do and to be part of cheerleading. Ever since I saw cheerleading on TV and I saw how hard they work I was like wow, if they can do it, I know I can do it. One thing I like have HVA cheerleading is they make you feel that you are part of the family and they always smile everyday no matter how hard it gets casue we know we can do it. I’m happy to be in the HVA family. They make me feel so joyful. I’m very excited and I really love my HVA family. The are the best ever. The HVA family is the light of my heart.

My name is Malissa, Jenny is my daughter and she is on the Power Surge Senior team. Jenny has been cheering for almost eight years with Allstar Cheer teams. We love HVA because Miss Kathy is an AWESOME coach! She takes the time know each child and what talent they have in them and what talent they can ALSO bring back out in themselves!! HVA is a great team to be a part of!
All Star Cheerleading has become a big part of our lives over the last few years. I love to see the confidence it's given Alyssa, the hard work she puts in at practice, & the fun she has going to competitions. This year is all about a new beginning for us & High Voltage has been amazing!! We've had a lot of fun getting to know the HVA family and Alyssa is looking forward to hitting the mat!! Paula
Delaney LOVES cheerleading so much...and it has alot to do with her coaches and the girls she cheers with. I am very happy with Coach April; she really pushes Delaney and at this age, this is what she needs. I love hanging out with all the moms because they are the greatest group!!! I love going to all the competitions. Kathy and Justine are running a great organization. Very professional...and they honestly love all of the girls..HIGH VOLTAGE ROCKS!!! :)Cyndi
My name is Abbie and this is my 9th year cheerleading and my 3rd year with High Voltage Allstars.  I love HVA because everyone is so caring and always there to help.  Our coaches are great at what they do and if you need any help they are always there.I also love HVA because we have so much fun with socials and parties, but when its time to get our work done, we get our work done and do the best we can. HVA is a team you can always trust and you know you will have fun and do good. I love High Voltage Allstars, we are one big family!
My name is Edgar and this is my fourth year in competitive cheerleading. I absolutely LOVE High Voltage All Stars!!! I have learned many things at High Voltage, both on and off the mat. These things have not only made me grow as a cheerleader, but as a person. At High Voltage I have made memories that will last forever and friends that will too. It is such a great organization and I know it will go a long way. I could not have asked for a better place to cheer...not just a team, a FAMILY!!
Ashton and I are proud to be a part of such an amazing organization. High Voltage All Stars is a wonderful part of our lives. Once we walked in the gym, there was no looking back. We’ve made wonderful friends and can’t say enough about the coaches and other staff members. HVA is very supportive of not just the cheerleaders, but also their families. Congrats on such a successful first year!! Angie
I cannot tell you what a positive experience this cheer season has been - injury & all! Kendall has had an excellent time...she has made new friends and has been challenged with all aspects of cheerleading and she aspires to reach the next levels in stunting and tumbling. April is an excellent coach. I have appreciated how the gym is run...any problems are nipped in the bud, financial obligations are clear, expectations of parents, athletes and coaches are high - and you lead by example! You should be commended for going above and beyond in year one! Hats off to you! It has been a pleasure to watch your dream come true.

What cheerleading and dance mean to me...

LOVE IT!*LEARNING NEW THINGS

Cheerleading

New routines
Practice after Practice
Out of breath
Breaking a sweat
Repeating;
Dance, cheer, tumbling
Again and again
Adding facials
Stretching my muscles to smile,
Focusing on our audience
Synchronization is key
Teamwork as well.
Together it’s a cheer
Out of sync?
Its jumping around.

Nervous and scared
Yet happy and anxious
Ready to go show them
What we’ve got
All it takes
Is hard work and determination
When I walk on that mat
I am a totally different person.
Still me
But a more public me.
It’s time to go
Show myself to the world.

All that matters
Is that I have fun
But part of that fun
Is being with my teammates
My family.
As I walk off the mat
I feel my body
Stretched to the limits.

Cheerleading has become
A part of my life.
It is my sport
Forever and Always.
I am an athlete!

One of our new HVA cheerleaders!
Two Minutes & Thirty Seconds
By Ally Warfield, HVA Cheerleader

Today is the day
I have to compete
I’ve got to get moving
And get on my feet

It’s been a long road
Six years of hard work
They are called facials
Not just a smirk

I take out my battle gear
Red, white and blue uniform
Hair bow and make-up
I’m ready to perform

Lots and lots of glitter
Scatters everywhere
I need a lot of hairspray
And a bobby pin there

I gather with my army
As we prepare to fight
We stretch out our muscles
They cannot be tight

As we walk down the hall
Prepared to face our fear
The tumbling mat is next
I must keep my head clear

Tumble, tumble, tumble
Back handspring, back tuck
Over, over and over again
It’s about perfection, not just luck

The lights are bright
We really want first
It’s not our first time
It has all been rehearsed

Two minutes and thirty seconds
That’s all that we’ve got
“Ladies you may begin”
This is our only shot

The music starts to play
Our parents start to shout
“High Voltage All-Stars”
That’s what it’s all about

Pyramid, twist downs, baskets
They all seemed to hit
Our time is almost over
We need to finish it

Here comes the grand finale
Dance, dance, dance
The last of the eight counts
This is our final chance

Tired and exhausted
Gasping for air
I hope the coach is proud
And god answered my prayer

The judges start to tally
Our performance and our score
We hug and embrace-
Our muscles still burning to the core

Today was the day
I had to compete
We won the war
First place cannot be beat
