Head Varsity - Clay Berry
Beginning his 9th year @ Lufkin High School, 5th year as LHS Varsity Baseball Coach, and 18th year of teaching and coaching. Graduate of Arkadelphia High School in Arkadelphia, AR. Earned a B.S.E. degree at Henderson State University. Coach Berry teaches U.S.History @ LHS and is also Specials Teams Coordinator & Outside Linebackers for LHS Football.

 

Coach Berry enjoys trout fishing in the White River in Arkansas and watching the Chicago Cubs.


Asst Varsity - Jeff Cook
In his 7th year @ LHS and his 10th year of coaching for LISD. Teaches P.E. @ LMS. Graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, TX. Received his Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Coach Cook also is the Varsity Football Offensive Line Coach @ LHS.

 

Jeff's wife, Caron, is the cheerleader sponsor @ Lufkin Middle School. They have a daughter, Presley Nicole, who is 3 years-old.


Asst Varsity / Junior Varsity - John Cobb
Entering his 5th year of coaching @ LHS. Graduated from Corrigan-Camden High School in Corrigan, TX. Graduated from Texas Lutheran University where he lettered in baseball as a second baseman. Coached 3 years @ Corrigan-Camden High School and now teaches History @ LHS. Coach Cobb also coaches 9th grade football. 


Sophomore - Riley Fincher
Entering his 5th year of coaching @ LHS. Graduated from Texarkana High School in Texarkana and was 3-sport letterman. Upon graduating, he started his collegiate baseball career at the University of Arkansas and later transferred to Texarkana College where he earned two letters in baseball. Coach Fincher continued his baseball career at Henderson State University, where he lettered two years as an infielder for the Reddies. He began his career as a student assistant coach for Henderson State duting the 2004 and 2005 season. 

 

Married to the former Stephanie Devine of Sherwood, Ark.


Freshman and Pitching Coach - Todd Foley
Coach Foley graduated from Lufkin High School in 1987. He then attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he received his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He spent one year coaching in Evadale, and one year coaching in Splendora. This will be his 16th year in Lufkin. 

 

Coach Foley and his wife, Kelley, have a 9 year-old daughter, Mackenzie and a 6 year-old daughter, Lexanne. They are active members of Lufkin's First Baptist Church.
