Bats:
For the duration of district playoffs and the state tournament, all teams will use wood bats. Composite wood bats and metal handled-wooden barreled bats are allowed.
During regular season play, the NBA requests all teams to use wood bats. This is a request, not a requirement. Most leagues are wood bat but there are some that use metal.
Jerseys:
Each team must have similar jerseys. Jersey tops must have a number on the back. Sponsors are allowed to be displayed on jerseys. Sponsors must be of an appropriate nature. League patches are allowed on jersey tops. Jersey tops can be professional button downs or they can be screen printed tshirts.
All players must wear baseball pants. Matching pants are preferred but not required. Any pants other than baseball pants are prohibited (ie shorts, jeans, sweatpants are prohibited).
Players on a team should have the same style/design hat.
Players on a team should have matching socks and belts.
Apparel/Equipment:
All batters and base runners must wear batting helmets. Catchers must wear a protective helmet and mask.
District and state tournament sites use Diamond DOL-A baseballs. It is the responsibility for each team to provide two new baseballs at each game in districts. The NBA will provide baseballs for the state tournament.
Cleats:
Plastic or metal cleats are allowed.
When looking to purchase jersey's, bats, and equipment for your team, shop around. Look at pricing and quality in your local stores and also look for these items online.
