BOYS BARKER BASKETBALL “HIGH SCHOOL” LEAGUE
INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM SIGN-UPS NOW BEING ACCEPTED
The Hingham Boys Barker Basketball High School Division is now accepting team or individual sign ups for the 2009-2010 season.
The High School league is open this year to all non-varsity high school players. Freshman and JV high school players are eligible this year but rosters will be limited to a maximum of two freshman or JV players per team. Registration by team is recommended but you can also register on an individual (free agent) basis.
Each “team” registration will require at least 7 players and no more than 10 players. Each team is also required to have a coach or sponsor that is over age 21. As previously noted, team registrations will be limited to a maximum of two freshman or JV high school team players.
“Free agent” or individual registrations will be either grouped together to form additional teams, selected by existing teams or added to teams that require additional players. As such, all individual registrations can not be guaranteed a spot so it is strongly recommended that you register with a team.
Games will be at the South Shore Sports Center in Hingham. The season will be approximately 8 games, not including playoffs. All teams will make the playoffs. All games will be on Saturday night. Games will be refereed by high school approved refs. The cost will be $1,050 per team or approximately $150 per player. Practice and scrimmage time will be available starting 12/12 although league games will not start until January 9th. Deadline for registration is January 3rd.
